In an interview with a Saudi-owned media outlet published on Monday, ex-Mossad chief Tamir Pardo expressed doubt that Russia had the ability to remove Iran from Syria — a longstanding Israeli goal.

Speaking with Elaph, an Arabic-language, London-based news website, Pardo — who served as the head of Israel’s famed intelligence agency from 2011-16 — also called for economic sanctions to be imposed on Lebanon, for the purpose of weakening Hezbollah.

In Pardo’s view, the unresolved Palestinian issue remains the main obstacle to the further development of ties between Israel and the moderate Sunni axis in the Arab world.

Pardo revealed that, during his time at the helm of the Mossad, he took part in numerous secret meetings with officials from countries throughout the Middle East with which Israel shared “many commonalities.”

Russia is establishing military outposts along the border as we speak. There will be between 6 and 8. UNDOF will certainly return to their lost bases soon and continue patrolling.

The US and its European friends warned of an humanitarian crisis in Idlib should the offensive start. The current humanitarian crisis - the rule of Al-Qaeda terrorists over Idlib - is apparently not of any concern for them. After the many humanitarian crises they have produced and/or supported they should be quite silent over this and be happy that it is over soon. Maybe there is another tree to be planted, instead. The tree of scabbiness and hypocrisy.

Syria is theirs. All Trump can do is send out the type of pathetic, groveling tweet he sent out yesterday asking them, almost politely, not to keep fighting. And no other countries or leaders even pretend to care.

This theory is bullshit.
There's already an existing gas pipeline infrastructure between Iran and Turkey.
Most cost-effective and geopolitically least risky way is a gas pipeline under Persian Gulf from Qatar to Iran and then use existing infrastructure into Turkey.
