Syrian President Assad thanks Russia, Hezbollah and Iran

President Assad thanked the backers of Syria for their ongoing support at the opening of the Conference of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Damascus.

"Referring to the ongoing Syrian civil war, Assad was optimistic. He said that Syria and its allies had been achieving “one feat after another over the days and weeks,” despite the fact that they were fighting against “the fiercest terroristic organizations supported by the strongest and richest countries in the world.”

He went on to express his gratitude towards Syria’s allies who have provided military, economic and political support to the country during the ongoing multi-sided conflict. He hailed Syria’s allies as a “significant part of the achievements” in the country’s war against the western-backed opposition and rival factions.

In regards to Russia, Assad said it had contributed to protecting the sovereignty of Syria and had “never stopped supporting the Syrian army or offering whatever it needs for it to carry out its tasks in combating terrorism.”"

40s-60s there was a policy of the USSR directed to the growing of socialism in the world. And it never lead to a war but only helped poor countries to become more developed snd rich. But each time when western countries tried not to allow it happen a war began.
The brightest example is Tajikistan and Afghanistan. They are parts of the same country with the same language, culture and level of development by 1920. After Tajikistan had become a part of the USSR people stopped dying of hunger, got educated, they became secular and some kind of industry appertaining. While Afghanistan lives in Middle Ages until now. In 70s soviets built hospitals, schools, factories, electric stations and houses for living in Afghanistan and the USA realized that soon it will become socialist country loyal to the USSR. And the war began. War not against the USSR but war against humanity in Afghanistan. Thaliban was created for fighting against SU and now US don't know how to tame that mad beast.

As for invasion of Ukraine- that is absolute nonsense. US invested 5bln. in revolution of 2014 calling it "development of democracy". US trained nazi youth who has done all dirty work. US propaganda including printing of school books has been working from 1992 till now.

Do you know the history of Ukraine? It appeared in 1918 created by Lenin. Before that it was part of Russia - that place where russian statehood began.
If Russia invaded Ukraine it would become Russian in couple days from Donbass to Lvov and that would be pieceful invasion like it happened in Crimea- without any victims. And now Ukraine wouldn't suffer of poverty as it is now.
