So sub contractors who did the deed did not report it to NIH and that was a violation of their agreement.

Ebright noted that the NIH’s letter appeared to show that EcoHealth Alliance violated the Terms and Conditions of the NIH grant.

The letter pointed out that the coronaviruses studied under the grant were unlikely to have become SARS-CoV-2, now commonly referred to as the “coronavirus” or “COVID-19.”

to say he lied implies that he deliberately knew something and lied about it.

The agreement was clear and there is no indication that Fauci knew that the contractor's violated the agreement. Also since what Wulan lab did has not shown that it contributed to COVID-19

So for Fauci to have lied he would have had to known that they violated the agreement.

Still gain of function is a general term as it describes any research that results in the gain of a certain function.

So GOF with the mice thing can be considered GOF.

Yet the problem with GOF is if the research causes a pathogen to be more infections.

Thus it can be tied into the covid 19 but the paper also reports that it does not tie into COVID 19 and it was unlikely to have cause COVID 19. So basically no harm no foul.

this is just a rehash of the SARS - CoV -2 COVID 19 being man made instead of naturally occurring.

Obama admin announced that they would not fund gain of function research back in 2014. EIH reviewed the project and determine that it was not gain of function research.

A biologist appears on FOX and claims that he reviewed the papers and concluded that this was gain of function. Well he actually says it seems to be gain of function.

Multiple studies done and they all agree that there was no alteration and that it jump from an animal to humans and evolved naturally

Wow, here's the thing though -Fauci has already perjured himself right (?), and so the thing is that when you tell a lie in such ways, and then have to tell many more in order to keep ahead of it, then it becomes easy for the puzzle to be put together by the investigator's who are expert's in their fields on such things, especially on studying the human condition when it acts in these ways.

well since GOF has a research team that uses a virus that is passaged in a host until a virus with different properties is obtained thus it is manmade as it is not naturally occurring. Thus it is man made.
