That'll never happen either, because that's been in play for year's with the I-9 verification forms etc, but somehow the verification process was cheated or not enforced by let's say random spot audit's etc... If enforcement was being done, then we wouldn't have experienced the disaster in this country that has worked to sell us out over time.

An I-9 is little more than getting a potential employee to sign off that they are here legally.

But yes, not even that is being enforced.

It's likened to a roadway job, where as the contractor wins the bid, and the state or federal inspector is supposed to oversee the quality of the work, the production and time involved etc, but if that inspector is won over by the contractor through gift's, pay offs etc, then everything goes to hell after that. What we end up with is a shotty job that won't last the time period in which the road should have lasted, and by that time the contractor banks a cool million for the job, and has the whole country to run around playing his games in, otherwise looking for his next weak corruptible official. We the citizen's then have to pay higher taxes because the state's seemingly getting behind on their infrastructure because it's falling apart for some weird reason. Rinse wash and repeat, rinse wash and repeat.

We the citizen's end up paying dearly for all the corruption, but corruption like any other thing in this country has become the norm, even if it isn't a norm but is being called that now in certain circles.

We prefer to be lied to.

Huh ? Talking on site inspection, not oversights at higher levels, but they both screw us bad when not enforced at any level needed.

Yes but, when the law was written it was assumed they would have come through an official point of entry. No one thinks an illegal border hopper should be able to declare asylum....except Biden, the Democrats and, I guess, you. The Democrat Congress is making sure illegals can hop our border and swarm our country.

Asylum process in the US assumes that the applicant is lying but gives it a wink-and-a-nod and everyone pretends that they believe the asylum seeker is actually in danger in their home country.

In fact, though, no one believes that a single asylum seeker from Central or South America is in actual danger. And proof that those seeking asylum aren't actually in fear is that the come here, fly their home country flags, associate and group in home country communities, and criticize the United States while getting offended when Trump points out that their home countries are the shitholes that they are.

They may be in danger, but that doesn't necessarily quality them for political asylum. Besides, when is seeking asylum they request it upon entry of the first country they enter. In most cases on our southern border, Mexico should be the entertaining asylum requests from people south of their border.
