Sunlight Foundation poses 23 key questions Clinton must answer on her emails

Sunlight Foundation officials addressed 23 questions Thursday to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton regarding her use of a private email account to conduct official government business.

Sunlight is a nonprofit transparency watchdog group funded in part since its founding in 2006 by George Soros' Open Society Institute, Ford Foundation, Omidyar Network and the John L. and James S. Knight Foundation, among many others.

In addition to transparency advocacy, Sunlight produces apps and other digital tools to increase public participation in government processes, and conducts widely read investigative reporting on conflicts of interest, accountability and official corruption.
