It isn't what they actually believe, it just makes them feel better about the results they want.

Not one court case was taken, all they did was dismiss them saying there was no precedent. Then after the election said it was “moot”.

Wrong. Only one case, a Supreme Court case was dismissed straight up for precedent. The rest...were dismissed for lack..of..evidence.
