This is the one new thing that the Corona Panic has taught Americans. There are a lot of things we can do remotely, including work in many fields as well as study. This whole thing is going to be crushing to the huge megacities. Why work in downtown New York City where it cost a prince's ransom to part, when you can do the same work from your home in Ulysses PA, or New Philadelphia Ohio, which are a lot less expensive

This is why nobody lives in Kansas.

Lots of people live in Kansas. And modern technology is going to make Kansas a lot more popular. If someone can work from their home in Dodge City or Hays, why pay New York rents?

Because when you're off of work, you're still in Kansas where the national sport is watching paint dry.

The culture of New York City is canceled. No shows on broadway, no sports at Madison Square Garden, no smut in Times Square.

The only thing growing is the crime rate. In a year even Snake Plisskin won't go to New York.
