It was a extinct shark that lived between 100 million and 85 million years ago. Commonly found in the Midwest U.S. Ptychodus has a huge array of crusher teeth. This species jaw contains many teeth, up to 550 teeth, of which 220 are in the lower jaw and 260 are in the upper jaw. It was one of the largest sharks of the late cretaceous period and one of the largest shellfish eaters of all time. Cretoxyrhina Cretoxyrhina also known as the 'Ginsu shark', was the biggest shark of its time and measuring up to 8 meters. The ginsu shark is notable for its absurdly sharp, hard teeth, believed to have been hardy enough to slice straight through bone with ease. Its was also among the fastest-swimming sharks, being capable of pursuing prey with burst speeds of up to 70 km/h. Its went extinct during middle- to Late Cretaceous period, roughly 75 to 105 million years ago
