Businesses have become addicted to cheap labor and they need to go cold turkey. If we enforced our immigration law against businesses hiring illegal aliens we would not have to spent millions trying to stop them at the border. If they know they cannot work, they will not come and (they will not flood this country with anchor babies. They will no long attempt to cross the border saving millions on border agents and they can concentrate on drug cartels. Having to fight illegal immigration at the border take away from fighting drug cartels.
Stopping illegal immigration at the workplace will go a long way in fighting illegal gangs that hide behind their families that are here illegally.
We cannot stop them at the border and we cannot stop them with amnesty, but we can stop them at the work place. I stop people from showing up at dinner time by not setting the table.
If we stop them at the work place, detentions centers would be as obsolete as concentration camps, as Japanese internment camps. Saving more money to spend on stopping drug cartels and enforcing work place laws against hiring illegal workers. There would be no more lives lost in the Arizona desert. Families would no longer be separated by illegal immigration. Human smugglers would be out of work. The discussions against illegal immigration would be a thing of the past if there in no illegal immigration. Immigration reform would be a thing of the past. We have laws that allow legal immigration and thousands are allowed to enter this country each year. It works. Amnesty do not work. Border security do not work. Rounding the up and deporting them do not work. Detention camps do not work. Enforcement at the work site will.
Men we place in power are not so smart after all if they cannot figure this out. Homeland security is a joke when it come to illegal immigration and Obama, Reid, Pelosi and Napolitano does not help.
