PA Governor Tom Wolf:

>> “The tragic events of the past week are a reminder that democracy must be preserved for today and future generations. The voters decide elections, not powerful Harrisburg politicians. Our nation has been through too much pain and disruption for this shameful power grab to continue.
“Senate Republicans may not like the outcome of the election, but they cannot overturn the will of the people in western Pennsylvania or ignore court decisions. The people’s ballots are counted, and the results are accurate. Refusing to seat Sen. Brewster and leaving the district without a voice would be unethical and undemocratic. The Senate Republicans have no choice. Sen. Brewster must be sworn in.” <<
State Sen. Jim Brewster, who has served in that body for a decade, narrowly won re-election to his seat in November, a vote which was duly certified in December. The Republican majority in that chamber refused to swear Brewster in for his term. This led to shouting matches in the state Senate, followed by the Republican majority expelling the Lieutenant Governor so they could replace him with the Senate President Pro Tempore who would allow the motion to deny Brewster his office.

Well today the US District Court threw out suit of Brewster's opponent who lost the election and they will have to either seat the winner of the election, or come up with yet another usurpation tactic.

Sore loserism. It's what's for dinner. They think they can get away with this shit.

Already a thread on this. He wasn’t seated because it was still being contested, only a few hundred votes separated them.

Of course the judge allowed non-dated and fraudulent votes to count in favor of the Dem.

So congrats on the “win”.

Republicans will do anything to maintain their minority rule in opposition to our democratic institutions and the will of the people.

Nope, it wasn't "contested". It was elected, counted, certified and confirmed.

I'm afraid bleating "WAAAH I WANNID TO WIN" isn't a proper "contestiing". The voters decide, not the Loser.

Of course the judge allowed non-dated and fraudulent votes to count in favor of the Dem.

The judge said no such thing. He said the votes count, period. Who the votes were for is a matter for the poll vote counters.

But since you bring it up, link to your evidence that they were "fraudulent' is where?

It's already been to the courts.
So congrats on the “win”.

Not necessary, I'm not Jim Brewster and I don't even live in Pennsylvania. But congratulations to the election system standing firm against these usurpers.

Oh and I forgot to add....

(At least) one of the Republicans in that state senate who kept the duly elected sitting Senator from being sworn in ----

--- was part of the Capitol riot the next day.

He called it a "Death Match".

Here's a klown who kept a duly-elected public official from being sworn in --- and then went to DC to push for another duly elected public official from being sworn in. Wonder what could possibly be the common thread between them. Jeepers Wally I have no idea.
