''Below is but a partial list of prominent former spooks turned mainstream media pundits and analysts, to say nothing of the even greater numbers of retired generals the network continuously rely on.''

Continued - Spooks Turned Spox: US Media Now Filled With Former Intelligence Agents

It figures it'd be something like that. Anyway, there's at least photos of the scoundrels, in case you don't know em by name.

Good to have such a list, but in the big picture this has been going on for decades. Not necessarily ex-military but intel infiltration of mass media has been going on since Allen Dulles was in bed with Henry Luce (and his contemptible contemporaries) cooing in his ear what he wanted the news to say.

>> [In] "The CIA and the Media," reporter Carl Bernstein wrote that by 1953, CIA Director Allen Dulles oversaw the media network, which had major influence over 25 newspapers and wire agencies.[2] Its usual modus operandi was to place reports, developed from CIA-provided intelligence, with cooperating or unwitting reporters. Those reports would be repeated or cited by the recipient reporters and would then, in turn, be cited throughout the media wire services. These networks were run by people with well-known liberal but pro-American-big-business and anti-Soviet views, such as William S. Paley (CBS), Henry Luce (Time and Life), Arthur Hays Sulzberger (The New York Times), Alfred Friendly (managing editor of The Washington Post), Jerry O'Leary (The Washington Star), Hal Hendrix (Miami News), Barry Bingham, Sr. (Louisville Courier-Journal), James S. Copley (Copley News Services) and Joseph Harrison (The Christian Science Monitor).[2][3] << -- Wiki: Operation Mockingbird

This is part of what makes the phrase "Liberal Media" so laughable.

Nobody brought up anything about "conservative". Read it again.

When was McChrystal working for US Intel?

Trump was all about retired generals, until he realized many of them are not into helping him commit treason against the US.
