First all civilian crew to successfully launch and orbit - and hopefully land. Considering the epic fails we see our Elite. Meritocrats perpetually perform these days, I'll cheer for actual accomplishments.

To be fair, we didn't get to see an orbit in real time until Glenn and Friendship 7 in nearly a year later in 1962.
