The raid on the KCTU showcases the challenges faced by labor in numerous countries across the world, as unions face the reemergence of authoritarian and repressive measures amidst ongoing attacks on living standards, wages, and pensions. These global issues require global solidarity.

Conservatives used to pretend to support a workers' right to a union. It was necessary to pretend in order to hold true to capitalism and the free market.

This is the real reason why 'right to work' zones were created. That was capitalism's dishonest way of forbidding unions with real teeth.
