Well yeah the writer of those excerpts was obviously a later Christian and not Josephus who was Jewish and would not call him the Christ.
They were out of context as if placed in poorly too.
But knowing earlier copies had no mention helps.
It's not till the time of Eusebius the great forger and liar that his name magically appears.
