Something New In Weapons Range Training

I ran across of couple things on Drudge Report today that i wasn't familiar with, starting with a new commercial SARS radar satellite offering capabilities not already found, at least in the civilian world and is worthy of a look, but not the subject of this thread. This thread is about use of programmable autonomous robotic targets for weapons range training.
This is not exactly a military oriented board, though there are quite a few weapons enthusiasts, along with a smattering of weapons nuts, and some retired military, as myself and probably another one or two that have run military ranges. Having run a wide variety, conducted training and assessment of training over the years, the concept and the videos made me wish I could be in on this type of training, instantly seeing the truth of the concept and obvious benefit. Alas, long military retired and at the age of 66, it ain't happening. I will post the link to the article. Great stuff if you are of a certain mindset!

Pretty cool. I'd love to try it. Also 66 and retired. I shot lots of action shoots, we had some cool reactionary targets for the day
