I'm not a musician, I used to hack at the guitar, but I love to listen to Arthur Barrow come up with a bass line to accompany Frank Zappa and Vinnie Colaiuta. I talked with Arthur on a message board, long ago and told him how amazing it was that he blended seamlessly with the composition that was occurring in real time. That's a skill unto itself
