I was in Office Depot, buying some stuff. Right where you pay they are selling an Obama propoganda movie.

I complained to the cashier, then the assistant store manager. The store manager was in a meeting.

The assistant store manager said this descision was made by corporate.

My arguement is that this is an office supply store, it shouldn't be promoting a particular politician. And if it does, I would have a hard time giving them business.

They have a right to do it, and I have a right to not shop there, and to tell them clearly why.

In any case I asked for the corporate contact information to complain to them.

I would like to ask some help in telling Office Depot that we don't appreciate them promoting a particular ideology and politician.

The number for Office Depot Corporate Customer Service is 561-438-4800, the email is [email protected]

Thank you

They're trying to make money.

If you don't like the "propaganda" movie, don't buy it.

Or boycott Office Depot. I'm sure they'll be calling you to apologize after a few days of you not shopping there.

Think about it this way: Do you think they're making more money from selling that movie than they do from you shopping there?

Perhaps if they have enough complaints, they will remove the left wing propoganda movie.

It shouldn't be in an office supply store, and if they want to promote a political side, there are other places that people on the other political side can buy office supplies from.

They need to be told this.

The cashier, assistant manager, and store manager does not need to hear from you. Write the company and email, and leave the person at the store alone.

All you accomplished, is pissing off the workers, who have to deal with stupid people like you on a daily basis. How do you like it when people complain about stupid shit to you at work?

And they have right to sell what they want.

LOL!

I don't eat meat, but I'm not going to boycott Kroger because they sell it there.

:cuckoo:

Do you boycott Blockbuster too since they carry Michael Moore Movies?

What the Hell ever happened to free press and capitalism? Shit, did they force you to buy the video? If they didn't don't be such a damn cry baby. I swear these damn conservatives are as soft as cotton.

Get over it. Move on.

I don't like High School Musical being sold all over Walmart, you know what I do... I walk the other direction when I see it.

Damn if it's that bad that you can't stand going to Home Depot, go to Lowes.

I swear the people screaming the most about "freedom" and "socialism" are the most fascist socialist people you'll ever meet.

Of course all of you hacks would be the ones bitching and complaining if it was a Bush video. LOL

Way to go Mike. I'm gonna drop by my local Office Depot and see if they are doing the same thing. And if they are, I will also complain to the store manager, assistant manager and anyone else I can "PISS OFF". If it's there, I'll not only call the corporate office, I'll paste the phone number on my facebook page and watch it explode through that community.

Care to define that?

And as I said, if it were a Bush video, there'd be blood on the floors....

By the way...pay more attention...it's OFFICE DEPOT...not HOME DEPOT.

You don't know me very well do you?

Again... people sell things they think others will buy. If Home Depot feels that selling "Obama videos" (whatever the Hell those may be) that's not home Depot's problem, that's the people who buy the video's problem. We live in a seriously bored and possibly semi-retarded society if those videos sell well enough for Home Depot to put them on display in the front of their stores. But that's societies problem. Home Depot's job is to make money, not to tend to your silly little complaints and hurt feelings. That goes for Bush and Obama.

Seems to me that Mike did just what you people are saying...he didn't buy it...and then he practiced his right to speak his mind. And then he practiced his right to ask others to join him in his boycott.

You're just pissed off that he did it on your blessed little message board.

Oh bullshit. That's a really easy way to get out of fascism huh? Well the other side did it. So I have a right to do it too. It's wrong when they do it, and it's wrong when the right does it. That's why shit never changes in this country, we're all a bunch of whining cry babies complain about shit's not fair. I took the liberals on when they cried about the court ruling regarding the corporations having free speech rights, rightist don't get special treatment.

And Office Depot/Home Depot... regardless, go to Staples.

yes..you're right...I don't know you...so if you put yourself in the hack category, that's on you...but it helps me know you a little better. And yes...it's their job to make money...but they need my money to buy the things that put on the shelves and I'm not gonna keep giving them money to do that with. Just as the retail market has seemed to cave to the anti-Christmas crowd, if enough people make enough noise, then maybe they will show some respect to those of us who are offended by their support of this administration.

Boycotts only help when the masses boycott. Then watch how fast they would remove the 'culprit'.

Not buying it and then minding his own got-dayum business and tending to his own affairs was probably the better course of action all together. Again, if the video was so horrible, it won't sell very well anyway. Companies don't waist money on displays that don't sell.
