Soldier's quote on Iraq

With all the many, many, many threads we have on why we went into Iraq, I found the perfect quote today. On the front page of our newspaper was an article about my cousin who just came home for 2 weeks of R and R from Iraq and left again yesterday. The article is mostly about him and his fiances engagement (thanks Fayetteville "obscurer"), but I seen a quote from him and thought I needed to post it.

"To get there and see all the mud houses with the mud floors, and then to go over and see Baghdad and see what Saddam lived in..." King said. "It's like, 'Now I know why we're here.'"

Even the soldiers there know we had to help the Iraqis. These soldiers are seeing what our media just doesn't want us to know.
