Socialism Success Story: Inflation Pushes Venezuela To Print $1,000,000 Bolivar Bill

They didn't do what right? Socialism? For any system of government to work there must be order. Never had that in Venezuela, ever. The theft of resources from that continent has been an ongoing source of strife and warfare since Columbus. All they have ever seen of capitalism is destruction of the land and impoverishment of the people. Of course they are going to turn towards alternatives. Problem is, you can't create public order out of thin air in a country that has never known anything other than brutally taking what you want. Colonialism sucked, dictatorship sucked, banana republic sucked and socialism sucked for Venezuela. Solve that one.
That one is easily solvable with the simple observation that "democratic socialism" has been tried in Venezuela and Bolivia and became and remain the shitholes of South America. Argentina and Chile had their tryst with it but Pinoche saved his country and Argentina slipped into decades of depression before coming to its senses.

Socialism has failed, and calling it democratic socialism obviously makes little difference. As the cliché goes, picking up a piece of shit from its clean end.

That's what happens when government makes everyone a millionaire. If this wasn't the first time this ever happened I could probably tolerate the stupidity of liberals, but we are a Rhodesian mile away from that point.

Capitalism failed Venezuela as well. What's your excuse for that? It's the same everywhere in the world. The people who live on top of the greatest mineral wealth are the poorest. The reason for this is obvious. It's cheaper to steal resources than to buy them. What happens when indigenous people start acting like they should have a share in the profits made from their lands? The West comes down on them hard. Democratically elected leaders get assassinated to be replaced with a compliant military dictatorship. You will do well to remember that socialism rises from the failures of capitalism.

Indigenous people must learn to exploit their own resources. They do not need to condemn themselves to an economic model that can only work in small advanced homogeneous nation and is advocated by a pseudo-intellectual elite of the West.

Look at the neo-colonization of sub-Saharan Africa where the Chinese see the indigenous people as sub-human. The West is relatively benign. The Chinese will make Leopold II look like a savior and a servant of the weak of mind.

How do they do that when it takes a massive investment in infrastructure? Western investment leads directly to a puppet government and theft of resources. They have all this valuable dirt or oil but to get it to market they have to make a deal with the devil.

No they didn't since China is a socialist country and has beaten the US at their own game and plan to be the dominate nation of the world in nine years.
Becoming the world's only superpower by 2025 is their goal.

The CCP is waging unrestricted warfare against the USA to forward that goal. The CCP installed their crooked puppet in the whitehouse. Unleashed the China virus bioweapon, and as a force multiplier used it as an excuse to institute unprecedented free speech abridgements via social distancing and masks. They destroyed countless American owned small businesses and cancelled the right to peacefully assemble in vast areas of the country.

Obviously the death blow will be to ramrod cap & trade carbon restrictions through congress in order to cause energy prices to skyrocket in the USA.

Like pre-1929 Capitalism did it any better?

From 1918 to 1923, the Weimar Republic faced numerous problems, including hyperinflation, political extremism (with contending paramilitaries) as well as contentious relationships with the victors of the First World War.--https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weimar_Republic

A loaf of bread in Berlin that cost around 160 Marks at the end of 1922 cost 200,000,000,000 Marks by late 1923.[14]--https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperinflation_in_the_Weimar_Republic

America went from an obscure start-up to the leading world power, so yes.
Any other questions?

Not with free market economics. It was the outright Government control of the means of production that did it.

America's response to World War II was the most extraordinary mobilization of an idle economy in the history of the world. During the war 17 million new civilian jobs were created, industrial productivity increased by 96 percent, and corporate profits after taxes doubled. The government expenditures helped bring about the business recovery that had eluded the New Deal. War needs directly consumed over one-third of the output of industry, but the expanded productivity ensured a remarkable supply of consumer goods to the people as well. America was the only that saw an expansion of consumer goods despite wartime rationing. BY 1944, as a result of wage increases and overtime pay, real weekly wages before taxes in manufacturing were 50 percent higher than in 1939. The war also created entire new technologies, industries, and associated human skills.--https://prospect.org/health/way-won-america-s-economic-breakthrough-world-war-ii/#:~:text=A%20merica's%20response%20to%20World,corporate%20profits%20after%20taxes%20doubled.

China also murdered 85 million of its own citizens too.
Leftist paradise.
During a civil war? How many people died in our own Civil War; reconstruction of the South was not about free-market Capitalism.
