Socialism doesn't scare them anymore

I still don't get the logic behind shaming "fence sitters". If we were all "fence sitters" we'd have a lot better government.
If we all stayed home, how could they claim to have the consent of the governed?

I'm not really referring to staying home. But blind loyalty to a party or leader is simply giving up. It's telling them "Go ahead. Do whatever you want. I'm your huckleberry".
Fence sitters are pretty much the same way...But they'll vacillate between which despot they'll choose....Almost exclusively guided by an away-from motivational strategy.

They're even more worthless than the party-line sheep.

They do have an awfully lofty opinion of themselves, though.....Even though both Jesse Ventura and Trump both proved that it's more effective to sway those who've been sitting on the sidelines to turn out.
No one can reach fence sitters in the Mac1958 mold

they want to support losing candidates so they can always complain and never have to take responsibility
You keep using that term. On what issues am I a fence sitter?

You must have multiple examples. Go ahead.
Well you never give examples, your posts are full of "you know what I mean" or "Thats not how the world sees it". You never give us your thoughts...I'm not on hear debating the world......so tell us how you think the world sees it......
If it's that important to you, all you have to do is ask, instead of making ignorant assumptions.

My positions on the issues are clearly laid out in the link at the end of the second line of my sig. My position on immigration and trade - one you won't find anywhere else - is in the link in the fourth line of my sig. I could not possibly be more clear or forthcoming.

So. I'm still waiting.
Those are fine, but I was talking with you on world leadership and you did not answer those questions....just said look at what the world thinks....that's not an answer

I disagree. They make either party work for their vote. We should all hold that line.

Your assumption that Republicans exhibit "blind loyalty" is obviously wrong and absurd. They chose a side - the one that's better than alternative.

Young people are not happy with the unequal world they’ve inherited. Millennials are embracing Socialism because unfettered capitalism failed them. Many grew up in cars or tenement slums during the great recession when GW Bush's call for "deregulation" allowed financial institutions to peddle toxic mortgage packages to anyone with a pulse, and ratings institutions such as Standard and Poor's looked the other way. As the economy crashed, and things got worse, the right wing refused to agree lend even a small a hand to the many who suffered needlessly, while the few at the top became wealthier still.

Young people, along with women and minorities watched as the economy slowly healed over the next 8 years with President Obama at the helm, and witnessed 30 million Americans who previously had little or no healthcare benefits could now see a doctor without medical bankruptcy in the back of their minds. The right wing screamed SOCIALISM! of course, but they didn't care - They now had medical coverage. They also watched Donald Trump do everything in his power to strip them and their families of that protection, while offering nothing to replace it with except - "Go see your insurance man"

Sorry Republicans - Socialism doesn't scare them anymore... :bye1:

Bush allowed finanicial institutions to peddle toxic mortgage packages....hun that is a carter clinton dem with rino thing. The housing bubble was the result of CRA from Dems dodd frank carter and clinton------------

baby bush actually warned of the impending doom when he first took office. The dems basically made it illegal for banks to refuse DEADBEAT loans..........and then rewarded them for giving them out.
Yep the old affirmative action lending.....the left complains minorities have no money due to racism (not true), then get pissed when banks won't lend them money (not true).....becasue the left looks at equal results...so they do the demographic thing.......13% of the population of America is black, but only 10% of the loans are to black people...AHA racism!!!!!! Well maybe that the percent that qualifies.....and we know this because Andrew Cuomo(Clinton's Sec of HUD at the time) predicted this failure.....although he said it wouldn't hurt much....ooops

Your assumption that I'm assuming that is obviously wrong and absurd. But many voters, both Ds and Rs, do exhibit blind loyalty, and they aren't doing anyone any good.

"Nobody ever got rich working for a living"

Hard word will never lead to being wealthy...unless you only work hard at sucking up all the money that you can...and making NO productive contribution to the economy whatsoever.

That's the whole idea behind profit...getting more out of an endeavor than the value of what you put into that endeavor.

Profits are parasitic by definition.

Trumps covid bail outs place the US as a socialist democracy. Handouts for farmers, handouts for large corporations. Handouts for those affected by the crisis. The detail might need tweeking but the principle is socialism. Now you need to sort out your crazy healthcare.

Trump is going to have China make up for most of those losses

I think we'd have a better government with a more non-biased MSM who is less motivated by money than they are honesty. We ween what all the Presidents went through, their family, even children at times. Who wants to subject themselves and their loved ones to all that in order to win a government job?

Its your generalized hate toward trump who is the first president to stand up for America

I believe you said you were voting for biden this time but that sounds out of character for you

and its certainly no affirmation of Sleepy Joe who I assume you will promptly abandon after he wins

Socialism is inherent to all human societies.

Nope. It is not. Unless you're just equivocating (likely), state control of the means of production isn't inherent to all human societies. Spin something else.

Not if you depend on that hard work alone, no, it will never lead to wealth. Making money takes investments and risks. My findings are that the people who complain about the wealthy the most have never made an investment in their lives outside of an IRA perhaps or their own house.

What a load

The problem is that leftists don't teach their children what a great country we live in and how they should appreciate our wealth and opportunity. They teach them to appreciate nothing and if they don't get every self absorbed wish granted they were screwed.

The Greatest Generation may have been the greatest generation. But they were the worst kids. They raised the baby boomers

So you call me a "fence sitter" a couple of times, but can't back it up with real examples. Well, I'm not surprised, of course. To respond to your (attempts at) other points:

I don't "hate" anyone. As far as I remember, the last person I hated was my high school geometry teacher.

As you would be able to tell, if you were to look at my positions on the issues (in the links in my sig), I disagree with Trump on a majority of the issues. In Normal World, that would be enough to vote against him. The fact that he is a dangerous buffoon only makes my conviction stronger.

If Biden wins, I will lay into him with the same focus and intellectual honesty with which I laid into Obama. Of course, the Regressive Lefties here called me a "racist" for doing so, but I'm used to that kind of thing from nutters.

Okay then! I hope that clarifies! You're welcome!

The real problem is that conservatism has an assclown as its principal spokesperson.
