When a Nimitz class aircraft carrier undergoes a renovation it also must have its nuclear power plant renovated. The total cost is somewhere near 4 billion dollars to do so to complete its 50 year lifespan or so. China is becoming a world power. They will need to expand their influence. They have a billion people who are not even in the massive growth they have. Imagine sending a few hundred million of them to a devastated Australia with much of their population dead. Australia is already a nation living in tyranny. So what should we care? Living under men like Xi is preferable then living like Progressive /socialist broads like the Australian leader.
