So why not shut everything down?

What should be shut down immediately is all pay to those in the public sector.

The public sector is destroying the private sector while continuing to get paid, themselves. There is something very, very wrong with that, folks.

Just to be clear, when you say "public sector" who exactly are you talking about?
Politicians and administrations.

do you have two accounts?

I have 3 at 2 different banks. :eusa_dance:

how many different log on accounts on this forum...at least two it seems

So why should a postal worker, firefighter or a soldier not be paid again??

Or is "public sector" some umbrella term you like to throw out when you are having a temper tantrum about the government.....

Trump is president now...he owns it.....stop being a bitch

Typical communist -- you have no problem destroying private enterprise.
I didn't destroy private enterprise you dic sucker......

Trump is the president, the buck stops with him...

was private enterprise destroyed during the H1N1 outbreak? Something you morons claim is 100 times worse than this one?

5 dollar say he won't do it.
Trump is far too powerful to let some Dems push him around and shut down the economy......that much longer
Will it be too little too late, though?

Why aren’t we shutting down the power grid and water as well?
Why should those workers have to be exposed to the virus when no one else can work because of the “danger”?

Can anyone explain where the line is drawn for who gets to stay home and collect checks for doing nothing, and those forced to continue to work?
if you have to ask such a stupid question you will never understand the answer,,,

sorry but thats science,,
Regressives tell us it’s too dangerous to go outside. So why are we still allowing it?
no one said that that I've seen,,,
You haven’t heard that certain state and city thug politicians have declared its illegal to leave your home? You can’t even go to a park in most cities now. It’s “too dangerous”.

I just had this conversation with my neighbor the other day. Unfortunately I don't think that directive is aimed at most law abiding citizens who want to do their part to flatten the curve. That's for the idiots who choose to ignore safety guidelines and put the rest of us at risk.

This sucks, no doubt about it. But it's a highly contagious disease that infiltrates a person's respiratory system. The outcome can be catastrophic.

As for who gets to stay home and who doesn't? I think it's a common sense answer. Do we need the power grid to run the ventilators? Do we need water to survive? Really, I'm not sure what your point is.

The virus is coming into my home through the electricity? ... I didn't know that was possible ... city water here is bleached, can this virus survive that? ...

The lock-down order here is so full of loop-holds that it's basically non-existent ... you know, liberals wrote it ... the only place I've seen shuttered is the local casino ... is that the OP's complaint? ... poor baby ...

The one good thing about Democrats is that they couldn't take our civil liberties away even when they try ...

The workers who enable all that still need to congregate with others at the workplace.

It’s just funny that we need to stop everything for the “safety” of some, but not others.

This whole thing is all about enabling universal basic income for lazy shit heads.
