It's a smart business policy to require proof of vaccination, as swell as a socially responsible one. Particularly in the restaurant and bar business, which thrive on repeat business,
if they allow Typhoid Marty in, it will kill off the regular clientele. I won't go into the often-made argument that a business owner has the right to do what they wish. Everyone knows the drill: private property, sincerely-held beliefs, freedom.

No, consideration for others should not need to be legislated or required by the private sector. When was the last time you saw a notice at the entrance to Tiffany's "Please do not urinate on our jewelry"? But, unfortunately, some obdurate individuals need such sanctions.
