So, Farewell to Anglo Saxon values . the dream is over........

I was watching a British real estate 'reality' show here a couple of months ago. Seems there are quite a few high end country houses that still have the thatched roofs, some look several feet thick. I would have thought they would have been zoned out decades ago. They look pretty cool though.

looks a lot nice than that corroded metal crap----the
subsaharan africans did it first

Hey Tommy Tainted. Are you Jewish, by any chance?

Some of the Jewish bigots here claim there is an IQ test for that, so Tommy couldn't possibly be Jewish, or even Irish for that matter. He could be a house boy for Al Sharpton, maybe; those types have very low standards.

I have never heard a jew claim that there is an IQ test
for being jewish. There is, NO DOUBT, an ethos
problem amongst the descendants of------MERRY OLD

@fnnceo claims there is; it's also true he never claimed to have passed it, though., and posting evidence suggests he didn't.
Gullible twit!!! lmao

Greg

I assumed he was joking. But Tommy doesn't know that.

It wasn't dog whistles. It was sheer white supremacy. MTG said it was written by an outside group--WHO? Stormfront? Anyway, all a mistake, folks. They'll be a little more careful with the next draft.

It didn't scare libs--as a matter of fact, I got a howling good laugh out of it where I heard about it. Funniest shit all day.
They will want to rethink their proposition. People may confuse them with right wing extremists.

Yes it is all over for Marje and her vision of a slave owning democracy living in saxon style mud huts without any electricity.

This will come as a huge disappointment to oath keeping proud boy aryans across the nation but you need to dig deep and show that stoicism that is exclusive to the white man.

This venture lasted nearly a day and terrified the libs so no doubt it will return around election time. As the spiritual leader of these clowns once stated " Tomorrow belongs to me ".

Heil Marje !!

The houses were big, but the rooms were small, and I'm still wondering how they got the big furniture upstairs with those narrow stairways. I guess movers spend a lot of time breaking down stuff and putting it back together upstairs. Some of the big stuff doesn't look like it could be taken apart without screwing it up.

In some of the places that looked possible, yes. Others looked like they would have had to remove the windows, others there was just no way; must have cost a fortune for specialist movers.

No idea on that one; what size were the windows? Did they simply go through the straw/thatch when they were redoing it???

In short; I still have no idea...

They put so much damn effort into matching the stereotypes about them, and I just don't understand why. Although I have some guesses.

Living under thatch, a risky business?

Not really… I imagine more thatch roofs in Britain, were lost to neglect than have ever been lost to fire. But the illusion remains, that thatched roofs burn frequently and the occupier will soon be out of house and home… In fact there is no more risk, of a thatch roof burning, than a slate or tile one… Insurance company records, over two centuries, have proved this point.

I didn't know that. Most thatch cottages I've seen seem to have chimneys.....

...maybe why there aren't any left???? Then again it IS England so the thatch would be wet most of the time.
