John Kasich was the only adult on the GOP debate stage. But do Republican voters even want an adult?

Kasich seems to be a nice enough guy but he doesn't have a chance of winning the nomination. All I ever heard from him was mumbling about "working together" and what a great job he thinks he did as governor. This "adult" crap is just another left wing ploy when all they have is an old commie and a psychotic abused woman.

The only time during the debate no one was interrupting each other was when Kasich spoke. The only time there wasn't any shouting and insults being hurled and general idiocy was when Kasich was speaking.

It frustrates me to no end he is being ignored for the sake of three clowns.

I completely agree. Kasich also won that debate. I think he could have been a little more transparent with his history but other than that..!
Cruz looked like he was trying to buy the Establishment support.
Rubio and Trump were like 12 year olds.
As soon as I was thinking Trump was handling himself well, he would sound like a fuckin idiot.

When a person is speaking normally, and not shouting, that is not "mumbling".

John Kasich got the loudest, most frequent applause in last night's debate. All three of the other candidates even got "boos" when Kasich got none.

This thread is a hit piece on Kasich because the other three are worried about him now. There will be enough people who want an adult to put him over the top. And, he's the only one capable of beating Clinton on the issues. She can't slice him up like she can the other three:

1. Rubio, for being a robotic establishment GOP puppet

2. Cruz for having a Canadian (or Russian or Iranian or N. Korean) birth certificate.

3. Trump for being a crazy sociopath.

Kasich? Hillary's got nothing on him. He is more experienced in foreign policy than she is; and that was her only feather in her cap. Plus, Kasich has begun to carry a platform that 90% of the American public agree with across all spectrums. Hillary stands in stark contrast to thinking children need both a mother and father in marriage. So, Kasich's got the numbers. Plus, neither of the others will come close to him in California...the BIG delegate prize..

Kasich would just be this year's McCain or Romney. Their appeal was supposed to be middle roaders but they preferred Democrats leftist policies more than Republican leftist policies, so here we are eight years later.

He seems nice enough of a man but too much like the guy trying too hard to be popular.
