Paradise.
Should the Tax payers have to sit by while the Government borrows money and devalues our currency ,to bail out a failed state running a failed progressive agenda?
Isnt this a kind of tyranny and enslavement that will last for generations?

The thing that I always find amusing is that the world hates us. They detests everything about the united states.

Until it comes time for us to bail their sorry asses out of a what ever fucked up problems they have. And then they love us

Fuck them!

No. We need to step back from the world and do what we can to prevent needing to be bailed out ourselves.

Absolutely not!

Greece is the prime example of socialist floundering. It clearly shows what would undoubtedly happen to our own great country if we take the socialist path.

THEY slept in their own bed, let THEM make it!

I don't agree with this attitude. However, I don't see how we could bail them out without destroying ourselves. We have to take care of ourselves or we will be in the same position.

However, this government won't do that so we need to do what we can individually to insulate us to the fluxes in economic problems.

No, I don't think we should. Are we? Or is the IMF using loans backed by the Germans? I don't really know the finer details about it.

There's only one argument I can think of in favor of a US bailout. If Greece is left to default, that could send a negative message to the bond holders of other nations in a similar situation: Spain, Portugal, Ireland. This could have a negative impact on the entire Eurozone, which is a larger economy than the US, I think. So if the Eurozone sinks into a deeper recession--depression?--it could drag the rest of the world economy further down, too. But maybe that would still happen if Greece can't get its shit together with this money, so I don't know.

On one hand, Europe needs to take care of itself. On the other hand, what happens over there can effect us, too. If nothing else, Greece is a lesson in how not to do things and I can only hope our politicians are paying close attention and seeing the parallels.

No, we should not bail Greece out. We need to take care of #1 right now and that's the US. We need to get ourselves out of our own financial nightmare.

Sorry, I can't remember the poster, but he/she is right. We've aided and rebuilt countries in Europe that frankly don't give a shit about the US and would not do the same for us in return.

This is exactly why we have to find a way to spit ourselves out of this mutually assured economic destruction crap so we can be indepedent of every other nation.

You do realize that now one of them will post and attempt to completely change the subject onto something that has nothing to do with this.

And then there will always be one or two people who take the bait and let the thread get diverted from the actual discussion.

The US should not bail Greece out. It is a Greek and European problem and they should fix it. A lot of the Greek population needs a good kick up the arse with their attitude. Their sense of entitlement is astounding....

Unfortunately, the sense of entitlement in this country is becoming astounding. Gone are the days of hard work, self reliance, and success. Liberals want everything handed to them on a silver platter. Fuck 'em!.....Let the fuckers starve!

Sad, but true!

Then we restore it.
