A Republican on the House committee investigating the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol on Sunday did not rule out issuing a subpoena for former President Donald Trump as it seeks to obtain information from his allies.

Do you think trump would love the opportunity to testify before Congress?

trump likes the limelight.

It would be a zoo, if nothing else

If they tell him to, he should. Otherwise, he shouldn't get to within a hundred miles of it in testimony. He cannot resist lying and would be exposing himself even more before the justice system. You don't want Donny exposing himself in public.

How about you put up Pelosi, and I'll put up Trump?

No it's not, this is a Show Trial, nothing more.
Cherry picking in selecting the committee was the first red flag what this was all about.
Not having Pelosi testifying is another red flag what this is about. Make no mistake about it.

It's a Republican, Kizinger, who is saying he might call trump to testify.

If Trump had the courage of his convictions, he would testify. Since he has no convictions, he will not testify.

Like this is a serious investigation? :laughing0301:
This is as staged as the two impeachments were. :eusa_whistle:

The Congressional hearing is not only a serious investigation but a needed one. The Capital Building was stormed and breached during a riot or insurgency, pick your choice of words. This assault and incursion into the citadel of our democracy was the first since the war of 1812. If that does not deserve an investigation, nothing does.

As for Trump, the man has no fortitude. Nor principals. He lacks any convictions whatsoever not related to personal self-aggrandizement.

If Trump felt he was right and he did not instigate the attack, he should speak out. If he did, he could turn it around to his favor as Hillary did to the Republicans during her Benghazi testimony.

But alas, Trump has neither Hillary’s smarts, convictions nor political acumen.

He is poser and bully. And like all posers and bullies, he will scurry away when confronted with his role in the insurrection. Too afraid to answer questions. He will do what he normally does to avoid confrontation. He will hide in the corner with his tail between his legs.

It's all serious until they refuse to question the speaker of the house, and refused two of the republican
selections to participate. yeah, REAL SERIOUS, dude. :auiqs.jpg:
