Should Trump seek to replace McConnell/Ryan?

No he should try and work with them and try and create unity.

If they can comply with Obama, then they should have no problems complying with Trump.

Should Trump seek to replace these RINOs as leaders? Early indications are that he is not going to make that play.
How is Trump going to replace an elected representative?

They can be voted out of leadership positions by their respective houses.
Sure, but they can't be ousted from office..McConnell has shown to be a puppet, not a master...

That wasn't the question was it? But if you want to get literal, yes they could be ejected form office by their respective houses, but that won't happen.

They complied with corporate lobbyists. If Trump is truly for the people, that's not going to mesh with those ass clowns.

Trump can replace nobody in the House or the Senate.

The OP falls on that point.

I think we'll find that a lot of these knobs are going to start enjoying themselves when they realize they can do the right thing AND get away with it.

Comical that people think a president has a power like a king. He can't do anything except flap his gums.
Comical that you do not understand the enormous power that a president has as the leader of his party.

He does indeed have one hell of a platform to try and get the leadership in the legislative branch changed.

He should not. This is a bad political climate to go around trying to reshape the party leadership. He has already bloodied their nose by taking the nomination, now it is time to show that he has the political acumen to work with the leadership of both establishments to get some of his agenda done.

Obama threw his weight around as soon as he was president. Rhetoric like 'elections have consequences' and 'its time that the republicans took the back seat' riddled his entire presidency with a government that simply could not work. Do you really want another Obama just because there is an R by his name this time?

Your past president, Obama used an constitutional EO to grasp unconstitutional power. He continually acted like a king and went around congress.
