Why would we release prisoners, while we're "locking up" free people in their homes?

They are releasing the criminals, to make room in the prisons for law-abiding citizens who exercise their Constitutional rights, in defiance of the subhuman criminal filth who infest our governments, and are using the COVIOD-19 hoax as an excuse to violate these rights.

This situation reminds me of Cuomo pardoning and releasing dozens of sex offenders and pedophiles few years ago.

Okay.. So from your article.

Spitzer said the convicted men spent “just days” in jail instead of the six months required by law for those registered as sex offenders.

So these guys were so "Dangerous" that they were going to be released after six months? That doesn't sound like a very dangerous guy.

You go into the details, and most of them were in for minor parole violations, not actual new offenses.

Offenses like this.

Final point- The problem with the Prison-Industrial Complex that some posters just can't get enough of is that it relies on probation and parole to work.

We currently lock up 2 million people. We have another 7 million on parole or probation. The reason why we have guys out there with GPS devices is that someone more dangerous probably needed to be locked up in that cell.

We could lock up all 9 million "evil-doers" with no hope of parole or probation, but that wouldn't really work, we can't afford it, and we'd be making our problems worse.
