Should LEOs have access to Mosin Nagants?

Personally I do not mind what the police have as far as weapons go. We either trust them or we do not. We either depend on them or we do not.

Other way around, if they are available in a community then the cops should have them and have more of them and better ones that fire more bullets and bigger bullets. In fact dump this crap and give cops Metal Storm weapons. It was bloody pitiful to watch the North Hollywood Bank heist when the cops were outgunned.

There is no reason the police should not have what ever weapon they need, and should have heavier weapons than pistols and shotguns even if no need is apparent. That robbery should have been a wake up call. They had to go to a gun store to get a weapon to use.

Yep, although gd members here don't carry long weapons the tactical unit is available and they have some fairly serious firepower.
