The leftist fanatics are pushing once again to make illegal aliens in this country citizens.

It's a strange request, since the only qualification those illegals have in common is a demonstrated willingness to violate US law.

Is that really the next group we want to accept as U.S. citizens?

Especially when there are other residents of foreign countries who obeyed our laws, applied through the normal channels, and are now patiently awaiting the government's response?

Why should we accept those who broke our laws while keeping out the ones who respected and obeyed them?

No.

Well if they make Ted Cruz a citizen, he'll at least be able to keep his Senate job!
Looks like the liberals are trying once again to lie about Republicans instead of addressing the point of the thread.

Do these people ever tell the truth about anything?
"These people?" What the hell do you mean "these people???"

NO! Criminal trespassers, those whose first act in this country is breaking the law, should be sent to the end of the line. If they have somehow managed to spawn offspring while on our soil, they and their spawn should be sent back to their point of origin until the spawn reach the age considered "adult" (about 18 yrs, I believe). At which time, said spawn may apply to come here based on their birth location. Progenitors of said spawn must still comply with the laws governing immigration, however.

Think of it as a natural selection process to sort out those having the strongest desire for self improvement and motivation to reach their dreams against the obstacles

"Shoud the Govt make illegal aliens who broke the law citizens, while rejecting those who obeyed law?"

This fails as a false dilemma fallacy.

One is not 'illegal' until such time as he has been found guilty in a court of law of entering the country absent authorization – all persons in the United States are entitled to due process of the law and a presumption of innocence, including those undocumented.

Immigration reform would afford those undocumented due process, to sustain a penalty for having entered the country absent authorization, and at some point realize citizenship, separate and apart from having committed any other crime, a crime which could make them ineligible to participate in a program to realize citizenship, exposing them to potential deportation should they be convicted of a crime other than entering the country absent authorization.

Actually, the theory that Obama has a voter-fraud scheme in the works isn't without merit. We know that Obama has already tried to say any illegal immigrants that want one can get a drivers license (an ID is needed to vote), And Oregon's Democrat Governor recently signed a law automatically registering anyone who gets a drivers license to vote (instead of just having the option).

Do the math: enter the country illegally + register to vote = massive voter fraud

Since voter fraud is a crime, I propose that any illegal immigrants who participate in such a scheme by immediately deported, with no chance of returning later and applying for citizenship.

You don't even have to go that far.

They are all breaking U.S. law by entering or remaining in the country without a current, valid visa.

Is this the group you want to make citizens?

While many others apply through the proper channels, obey the law, and are waiting patiently?

:badgrin:I agree..... But we know why Obama wants them to stay, don't we? Might as well point it out, and see how many Libtards bite by screaming about "voter suppression"....

It's interesting you believe 80 percent of Americans are "leftist fanatics".

But then again, most everyone is to the left of a nazi.

What "those illegals" have in common is a powerful appreciation of our great country, as demonstrated by their determination to stay here against all odds. They probably appreciate America more than the average American citizen.

Your opening post is a false dilemma. This is not an either/or situation where we have to choose between those who are here legally and those who are here illegally.

There is a third option. The option 80 percent of American wants. To provide legal status or a path to citizenship to "those illegals". This does not imply we shove the legal residents out.
