You are correct. Only it is certain that Trump will lose either FL or OH, or NC or NV etc.. He will not gain victory on each and every single battleground state. I keep seeing Trump supporters proudly announcing the national polls that show him ahead, but those polls never seem to get specific on the electoral vote situation.

Maybe Trump could win the popular vote and still lose the race, but the fact remains, the candidate with the most electorals wins.
