Senate cannot try a private citizen !!!

Prove he was pushed off of a building.
He was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher and suffered a stroke.

Do the math.
These dopey mother-fuckers failed to see the big picture and will have the stench of felony convictions wrapped around their necks forever. Try getting a job.
Perhaps they assumed they would get the same treatment as the Antifa and BLM rioters in Portland and Seattle.

I agree that he should be arrested and charged.
With what? Holding a political rally you don't approve of?

Clearly provocateurs used the rally as cover to stage an event. It took place during Trump's speech and
the overwhelming majority of people there weren't incited to the degree they went berserk just listening
to an incitement to storm the Capitol, which never really happened.
So that figures.

You comment is typical of the politicized idiocy that has been unleashed in this country.

This needs to be tried in a federal court. It was a crime. Trump aided in the crime. No one should be able to do what was done and just be allowed to walk. Fuck you republicans because you all suppported trumps attempts to investigate and imprison private citizens for nothing but a lie. So nobody wants to hear chirping from the clown car.
What crime did he commit?

Be specific.

The problem we have here is that the Senate members who want to have a trial, like their House counterparts, are mentally unbalanced and consumed by hate. There is no logic in what they do. They are obsessed with hurting Trump in any way they can because they fear him. They fear the crooked form of government that they have devised to enrich themselves will be dismantled in favor of one that our constitution and founders envisioned. Trump haters are America haters.

Trump called down an angry mob of supporters on Congress. They have pretty darned good reasons to fear him.

I predict you will come back with nothing............

No, Harris didn't. You scumbags are trying to treat a legitimate protest over murders of unarmed citizens that actually happened to an insurrection because of something that didn't. There is no equivalence.
:laugh2:

Legitimate protests don't involve burning, looting, and murdering.

First Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

They thought, they were doing this, for the President. They thought, president Trump called them, to do such....therefore....They thought, made it legal and okay.

That's why they were ALL taking selfies and other incriminating pictures and video, and then posting them on social media....

Great. But Trump did not resign his presidency. His term of office is officially over!
Congress holds no power over him now.
That just incentivized presidents to abuse their office just before leaving.

If impeachment can bar people from holding future office, it stands to reason they can be impeached after leaving.
No, it doesn't.

Congress has very limited, specific enumerated powers. Trying a private citizen is not included.

So you think impeachment should be based on the perceived mind reading abilities of a single digit IQ leftist hack on the innerwebs?

Show me in the Constitution where it says that?

A police officer had his brains bashed out on Jan 6th ... why are you afraid to put The Donald on trial if he's innocent of inciting that riot? ...

If you support rioting in the Capitol ... then you hate America ...
Not true, you lying NAZI. He died of a stroke.
And someone pushed off a building dies of head trauma.
They die of the sudden stop.

He should be charged for inciting an insurrection against our Capitol and those inside who were hurt or killed.

Wrong, NAZI. Nothing they thought makes it a crime. Only actions constitute crime. This isn't 1984 just yet. Although it's getting close.

Nevertheless, he wasn't charged with any such crime. That's because he did no such thing. There isn't a shred of evidence that he did

Link us up to his exact words doing that.

Being able to avoid consequences of your official actions by resigning or finishing your term is clearly not what the framers had in mind. It makes no sense.

This is precisely the situation the founders created Impeachment for....
