Not everyone in Iowa is a farmer but everyone here with exception of some of the Amish is stuck with Iowa's crappy mandated ethanol gas. It wrecks small engines and any engine not designed for it; like my older vehicles which are fully paid for; and we ain't going to buy new ones as we did that when we were younger. President Trump is looking out for the people in this one. Now to get rid of that new crap (DEF) they are forcing and mandating on all the new diesels which drives the cost of owning a diesel sky high and adds more pollutants into the environment overall.

Ethanol is shit anyway....it fouls plugs and coats cylinder valve seats and guides with crap that will eventual cause the valves to stick and not open and close properly. It also causes corn shortages that raise prices since most of the packaged food we eat has a corn syrup or corn starch base. We have more than enough oil now to stop turning corn into fuel......it's obvious to everybody but leftist pinheads and one issue pols like Grassley.

Try buying animal feed that uses corn. Prices have gone up since they started growing corn for use in ethanol.

Most of the corn farmers around here locally are also collecting subsidies which does nothing more than screw the small farmers and line the pockets of banksters, seed companies like Bayer and Monsanto and their chemical companies; along with polluting the crap out of the ground water and even the rain water too when they get subsidies that pay then extra for mainlining all that excess chemical crap into the ground with their field tiling. Farmers are also exempt from paying minimum wage and many of those assholes believe that they are exempt from all worker safety laws and workers compensation laws (one actually told Rod that when his hand was broken while he was at work for him).

All of the subsidies have led this nation into being led by a bunch of thugs and crooks who believe that they are above the law. (sodom and the corruption of gomorrah on full display for all to see).
