I recently, just this week, posted about a black carpenter in the Puget Sound area who had a noose with his name on it, left in his work area. It was reported that three people have been fired due to this incident but several individuals on this message board have attempted to downplay it.

1. Threatening others is unlawful, whether they carried out the lynching or not
2. The threat being motivated by racial animosity against black people is ALSO unlawful/illegal
3. Racism is alive and well in the United States of America in the year 2022 as is demonstrated by weekly incidents IN VIOLATION OF THE LAWS PROHIBITING SAID BEHAVIOR

A suburban Seattle man has been arrested and accused of threatening to shoot Black customers at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York, according to a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court. The complaint comes just months after a man killed 10 Black people in a mass shooting at a different Buffalo grocery store.

Joey George, the 37-year-old Seattle man, is charged with making interstate threats and is scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon, The Seattle Times reported. George phoned a Buffalo grocery store twice in July threatening to shoot Black people in the store and ranting about a "race war," the complaint said.

On May 14, a shooter killed 10 Black people and hurt several others at Tops Friendly Supermarket in Buffalo. A 19-year-old White man has pleaded not guilty to federal hate crime charges in connection with the attack.
Investigators say the suspected Tops shooter drove for more than three hours from his home in Conklin, New York, to a busy grocery store chosen for its location in a predominantly Black neighborhood, with the intent of killing as many Black people as possible. He was motivated, they said, by white supremacist beliefs which he described in online diary entries.
The store reopened last week for the first time since the shooting.

George did not call the same store but referenced it in his threat, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said George is also being charged in connection with a May call to a restaurant in San Bruno, California, in which he allegedly threatened to shoot Black and Hispanic patrons, and with making other threatening calls to businesses in Maryland, Connecticut and Washington over the last year.

"George allegedly used racial slurs and threats to shoot customers at the businesses because of his racial hatred," according to Western District of Washington prosecutors.

"We cannot tolerate this kind of hate in our community and will not sit by while people seek to terrorize others across our country," said U.S. Attorney Nick Brown.

This guy did more than just threaten to shoot people

Hey, racist bigot. Why do you never call out the fact that black on black homocides and assaults in Chicago make up 75% of Chicago's murders and 71% of Chicago's murderers? Hmmmm? Chicago: 75% of Murdered Are Black, 71% of Murderers Are Black - Intellectual Takeout Racism is alive and well for sure, but not the way you're trying to make it sound.
