My grandfather migrated to the US when he was 48 years old, back in the late 50s, and got a job at Bertram, a yacht manufacturer in Miami, Florida. He was earning enough money with that one blue-collar job, to raise his family, pay for a house in cash, a car..etc. Back then you could work for a company for twenty years and retire with a pension. All of that ended in the 1980s, thanks to Ronald Reagan and his supply-side economics. Trickle-down bullshit economics, gutted the American working-class and our nation's manufacturing base. Practically all of the people that are desperately "beating down" anything to migrate to this country are doing it due to the deplorable conditions created by American imperialism. Economic sanctions, wars, and governments that are serving the geopolitical and economic interests of the United States at the expense of their own citizens are the cause of people "beating down the gates" to come here. I'm the son of Cuban immigrants to this country, born and raised in Miami, Florida, I could've been born in Havana, Cuba if not for the United States arming, feeding Fidel Castro and Che Guevara when they were in the mountains fighting the Batista regime. Most of the Cubans that left the Island were from wealthy families or of the 20% of middle-class Cubans who were doing well working for American companies, that owned and controlled most of the wealth of the Island. Cuba was essentially a colony of the United States, with an American military base in Guantanamo. About 80% of the Cuban population was living in abject poverty, without access to healthcare, and education. etc.

The United States significantly contributes to the conditions in these developing countries that cause people to come here and make your "white country", more "colorful". No wall is going to stop this:

China isn't exploiting anyone, they give loans for infrastructure development without requiring the nations they assist to privatize that infrastructure or hand it over to Chinese companies. They're creating trading partners, countries that will both sell products to China and purchase from China. That's not possible without impoverished consumers increasing their purchasing power through higher wages and becoming members of a middle class. France, Britain, and the US, unlike China, just exploit for the purpose of creating a cheap source of labor and precious ore, raw materials, oil, and gas. etc. Americans who defend imperialism like you will pay the piper as your country collapses economically, socially, politically, and otherwise.
