Yea, we've been trying to contact ET for about 75 years now. You know one of the signals that may be powerful enough not to have petered out yet, was I Love Lucy? Imagine that. Our first contact with intelligent life might be The Lucy Show. Now if you were an alien, would you want anything to do with us after that?
