Is your position something like this:

“I’m not a christian myself but I will defend the traditional values of America till the day I die.”

Please do not take this as mockery because it isn’t.

I just can’t fully understand your position despite having read dozens of your posts on religion.

And my personal opinion:

The traditional value of the US is secularism not religion.

I’m surely making a distinction between the US and the pilgrim colony founded on the same geographic location more than 150 years before the “ideological” birth of the US.

No--my position is that whatever religion a man claims to be has no influence on if I would vote for him or not.
