Science Corrupted

1. Using the fact that the Left lies about everything, and applying that to science, we find that the Theory of Evolution is the nexus of Karl Marx's thesis, the heart of Democrat policy, and the need of the Left to end the guidance of the religion that helped create Western Civilization.

2. Militant Secularism is as much a religion as the Judeo-Christian one that served as the basis for America's founding. And Darwin's Evolution is central to the atheism of secularism.

Though liberalism rejects the idea of God and reviles people of faith, it bears all the attributes of a religion. In Godless, Coulter throws open the doors of the Church of Liberalism, showing us its sacraments (abortion), its holy writ (Roe v. Wade), its martyrs (from Soviet spy Alger Hiss to cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal), its clergy (public school teachers), its churches (government schools, where prayer is prohibited but condoms are free), its doctrine of infallibility (as manifest in the "absolute moral authority" of spokesmen from Cindy Sheehan to Max Cleland), and its cosmology (in which mankind is an inconsequential accident).

Then, of course, there's the liberal creation myth: Charles Darwin's theory of evolution.

"This question was asked by political science professors at the University of Houston. They rightfully felt that they could determine the source of the Founders’ ideas if they could collect the writings from the Founding Era and see whom the Founders were quoting.

The researchers assembled 15,000 writings from the founding Era – no small sample – and searched those writings. That project spanned ten years; but at the end of that time, the researchers had isolated 3,154 direct quotes made by the Founders and had identified the source of those quotes.

The researchers discovered that Baron Charles de Montesquieu was the man quoted most often by the founding fathers, with 8.3 percent of the Founders’ quotes being taken from his writings. Sir William Blackstone was the second most-quoted individual with 7.9 percent of the Founder’s quotes, and John Locke was third with 2.9 percent.

Evolution is a FACT
God is a THEORY
What is Darwin's Theory of Evolution?

Darwin's thesis is full of holes.....proven by the fear that proponents have of debating the issue.

The Left does not wish an investigation of the election, as the truth might be learned…..and the Left is just as firm about denying any discussion of the facts of evolution.

Eugenie C. Scott is a physical anthropologist, and executive director of the National Center for Science Education, Inc: ““If scientists do not oppose anti-evolutionism, it will reach more people with the mistaken idea that evolution is scientifically weak.”
EBSCOhost

“Avoid Debates. If your local campus Christian fellowship asks you to ‘defend evolution,’ please decline...you probably will get beaten.”
Scott, Eugenie C., "Monkey Business," The Sciences (January/February 1996), pp. 20-25.

It is thoroughly flawed...which is why their side is so fearful of allowing it to be debated, and see the need to lie.

The science establishment continues to stone-wall the public, "There are no weaknesses in the theory of evolution." This was the testimony of Eugenie Scott to the Texas State Board of Education in January when the Board was debating new state science curriculum standards. Dr. Scott is Executive Director of the National Center for Science Education (NCSE), ..." Stutz, T. Texas education board debates teaching of evolution. Dallas Morning News, January 21, 2009....

Dr. Stephen C. Meyer produced a binder of one hundred peer-reviewed scientific articles in which biologists described significant problems with the theory.
Meyer, "Darwin's Doubt."

Doesn't that make you wonder?

The election has already been investigated 6 ways to Sunday.

You must be a Democrat.....they also lie about everything.

Every state has recounted, audited etc and every one has certified their election results.. Trump is just a pathetic loser who wants to hurt the country. .. and you have jumped on his bandwagon.

You don't like the theory of evolution? Too bad. Its scientific theory not a Bible story.

I will eviscerate your post in a thread dealing with the stolen election.

I am having too much fun eviscerating you about your indoctrination per Darwinian Evolution.

Evangelicals are so opposed to science and education.. 144,000 just means a big number.

Between 1910 and 1919 the protestant church formally met in a backlash against science and modernity.. That is the same period that produced Cyrus Scofield and Christian Zionism and the Scopes Monkey Trial. That's when fundamentalism and literalism solidified.

FUNDAMENTALIST-MODERNIST CONTROVERSY. – Encyclopedic ...
Around the turn of the century, conservative Protestants began to forge alliances to defend supernatural Bible-based Christianity against the advances of the more naturalistic liberal theology. The clearest manifestation of this nascent coalition was the publication of twelve paperback volumes entitled The Fundamentals (1910–1915). The essays in these works addressed diverse topics, but almost all contributors defended the authority of the Scriptures against the claims of modern science .

Comedy gold that the religious extremist is cutting and pasting "quotes" from loons such as Dean Kenyon.

Dean H. Kenyon is professor emeritus of Biology at San Francisco State University, and one of the grand old men of the modern form of creationism known as Intelligent Design. Kenyon is, for instance, the author of the infamous Of Pandas and People (with Percival Davis), the textbook that laid the foundation for the Kitzmiller v. Dover trial (after being quickly turned from a creationist book into an Intelligent Design book, which was possible since the views are the same). And yes, there is a pattern here – Kenyon, as most proponents of ID, are concerned with getting creationism into schools, writing textbooks, popular books (especially for children), and participating in debates. The ID movement isn’t, and has never been, about doing science. It should be mentioned that Kenyon still subscribes to young earth creationism.

Kenyon first started promoting creationism (the young earth variant) in the 1980s, calling it “scientific creationism” and trying to teach it in his classes at San Francisco State. That didn’t go down particularly well with his more scientifically minded colleagues. The fact that they determined that creationism couldn’t be taught as science didn’t exactly change Kenyon’s mind, so he continued teaching it in other courses, leading to some major controversies at the university (where Kenyon claimed that “objections to his teaching rested on a positivist view of what constitutes legitimate science,” which is just a weasel phrase for “I should be allowed to teach my intuitions and convictions as being scientific regardless of whether they are backed up by evidence”). In the 1980s he became infamous for his involvement in the standard-setting McLean v. Arkansas and Edwards v. Aguillard courtcases. In fact, Kenyon pulled out right before he was expected to testify in the first case. In the latter, Kenyon supplied an affidavit which ended up constituting the main part of the defense.

In the 1990s Kenyon became affiliated with the Discovery Institute. He is currently board member for the Kolbe Center, a Catholic YEC group.

Diagnosis: A grand old man of the wingnut fight against reality when reality don’t align with their wishful thinking. Has made major impacts and must still be considered dangerous.

Have YOU been persecuted as a Christian.. and in what way have you been persecuted?
She read in the Bible where only 144,000 make it to Heaven and she wanted to claim racism to God but his phone is busy so she went ahead and posted her problem on USMB

"And let us dispose of a common misconception. The complete transmutation of even one animal species into a different species has never been directly observed either in the laboratory or in the field." Dean H. Kenyon (Professor of Biology, San Francisco State University), affidavit presented to the U.S. Supreme Court, No. 85-1513, Brief of Appellants, prepared under the direction of William J. Guste, Jr., Attorney General of the State of Louisiana, October 1985, p. A-16.

3. Which brings us to today's birthday girl...
Lynn Margulis, (born March 5, 1938, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.—died November 22, 2011, Amherst, Massachusetts), American biologist whose serial endosymbiotic theory of eukaryotic cell development revolutionized the modern concept of how life arose on Earth.

... a master’s degree in zoology and genetics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1960 and a Ph.D. in genetics from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1965. She joined the biology department of Boston University in 1966 and taught there until 1988, when she was named distinguished university professor in the department of botany at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

... Margulis was considered a radical by peers who pursued traditional Darwinian “survival of the fittest” approaches to biology. Her ideas, which focused on symbiosis—a living arrangement of two different organisms in an association that can be either beneficial or unfavourable—were frequently greeted with skepticism and even hostility."

4. Lynn Margulis says that history will ultimately judge neo-Darwinism as "a minor twentieth-century religious sect within the sprawling religious persuasion of Anglo-Saxon biology."Michael Behe
Darwin's Black Box (1996), page 26

“Neo-Darwinists say that new species emerge when mutations occur and modify an organism. I was taught over and over again that the accumulation of random mutations led to evolutionary change [which] led to new species. I believed it until I looked for evidence.”
Lynn Margulis

“New mutations don't create new species; they create offspring that are impaired.”
Lynn Margulis

"It is totally wrong. It's wrong like infectious medicine was wrong before Pasteur. It's wrong like phrenology is wrong. Every major tenet of it is wrong," said the outspoken biologist Lynn Margulis about her latest target: the dogma of Darwinian evolution. [With her theses], Margulis was . . denouncing the modern framework of the century-old theory of Darwinism, which holds that new species build up from an unbroken line of gradual, independent, random variations. Margulis is not alone in challenging the stronghold of Darwinian theory, but few have been so blunt. As cited in Kevin Kelly's book, Out of Control: The New Biology of Machines, Social Systems and the Economic World12 Kevin Kelly, Out of Control: The New Biology of Machines, London: Fourth Estate, 1995, pp. 470-471

5. The explanation for the Left's hostility to this brilliant scientist: Darwin was a necessary support for atheism.

One of the first readers of 'On the Origin of Species' was Friedrich Engels, then living in Manchester. He wrote to Karl Marx: "Darwin, by the way, whom I’m reading just now, is absolutely splendid. There was one aspect of teleology that had yet to be demolished, and that has now been done. Never before has so grandiose an attempt been made to demonstrate historical evolution in Nature, and certainly never to such good effect."
Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, "Marx-Engels Collected Works" , vol. 40, p. 441.

In the words of twentieth century evolutionist Ernst Mayr, Darwin “replaced theological, or supernatural, science with secular science. … Darwin’s explanation that all things have a natural cause made the belief in a creatively superior mind quite unnecessary.”

Let's check.

. The reason our revolution was so different from the violent, homicidal chaos of the French version was the dominant American culture was Anglo-Saxon and Christian. “52 of the 56 signers of the declaration and 50 to 52 of the 55 signers of the Constitution were orthodox Trinitarian Christians.” http://www.davidlimbaugh.com/mt/archives/2010/02/new_column_libe_4.html

Surprisingly, the researchers discovered that the founders quoted directly out of the bible 4 times more than they quoted Montesquieu, 4 times more often than they quoted Blackstone, and 12 times more often than they quoted John Locke. Thirty four percent of the Founders’ quotes came directly out of the bible."

There is a clear reference to Jesus Christ in the Constitution.

You see how ignorant you are, never having read a book?

Next.

Churches and Sunday schools should teach Creationism if that's their anti-science bent... but they should NOT take up classroom time and resources to teach fundamentalist Bible stories.

From the WSJ article:

The large clustering of certain adverse events immediately after vaccination is concerning, and the silence around these potential signals of harm reflects the politics surrounding Covid-19 vaccines. Stigmatizing such concerns is bad for scientific integrity and could harm patients.

Four serious adverse events follow this arc, according to data taken directly from Vaers: 1) low platelets (thrombocytopenia); 2) noninfectious myocarditis, or heart inflammation, especially for those under 30; 3) deep-vein thrombosis; and 4) death. Vaers records 321 cases of myocarditis within five days of receiving a vaccination, falling to almost zero by 10 days. Prior research has shown that only a fraction of adverse events are reported, so the true number of cases is almost certainly higher. This tendency of underreporting is consistent with our clinical experience.

Anyone who is concerned about potential adverse effects should ask their doctor or mention it to the healthcare professional administering the vaccine. They could collect more information and eventually find out why some people experience adverse effects.

Or, more sensibly, avoid taking the vaccine for a season or three and boosting one's immune system during the wait.

India thought they achieved natural herd immunity before the pathogen evolved into another variant. The vaccine helps prevent that.

These Evangelicals who claim persecution don't want equal rights with other citizens they want special rights.. superior rights.
And what precisely are these special, presumably extra-natural and/or -constitutional rights sought by evangelicals?

Wrong again! The Western tradition of natural law is predicated on the socio-political ramifications of the Judeo-Christian ethical system of thought.
