They then went on to praise President Joe Biden for doing an 'excellent job' in office and said they hope he runs for re-election against Trump in 2024.
Pelosi later revealed that she does thinks Trump needs an intervention.
'I think there's a need for an intervention by his family,' she said candidly. 'He's not on the level.'
Schumer and Pelosi are enthusiastic for Biden's reelection.
'The vision, the knowledge, the strategic thinking is all here,' she said, pointing to her head. 'The empathy is from the heart and I think he's a great president.'
Schumer, meanwhile, said he would continue to support Biden if he seeks re-election, saying: 'He's done an excellent, excellent job. And if he runs, I'm going to support him all the way.'
