Sad way to be proven wrong.

I've been seeing a few "stories" like this recently, and they're just a little too perfect, if you ask me. It just seems kind of fishy, the message being "don't call this thing a hoax!" Personally I don't believe anything at face value. I found this, a cached copy of someone expressing similar doubts on the truthfulness of the story: Likely Russian Disinfo: MAGA Karen dies from virus she declared a hoax
Right. Fake news! Fake news! What else could it be?

Don't change or add to my words. But I think you're very naïve, there is tons of disinformation out there, not to mention the fact that propaganda is legal now. So It's amazing to me that people like you believe whatever you're told by the idiot box, and never question the government or mainstream narrative, like a good little serf.
I didn't change or add to your words. You clearly implied "fake news" in your post, but I didn't claim that's what you wrote. Your assertion that "propaganda is legal now" is interesting. When was it illegal? Libel is illegal, but beyond that... And just how do you know that I believe whatever I'm told by the idiot box? I question the government all the time, especially one that's run by Tronald Dump.

That's the problem, you (like with 98% of people here) are stuck in the D vs R false dichotomy. You question anything Trump says because he has an R by his name, but you don't seem to question the government / media in general. Even though they've lied time and time again and clearly don't care about the constitution or bill of rights. Anyway, I was just saying that it's fishy, seeing a number of stories like this promoted, it's a pattern that is too convenient for those who are trying to squash dissent from the mainstream narrative. I'm a very intuitive person, and nearly every time I have sensed that something is BS, it later turned out that it indeed was BS.

That is sad.

As ignorant as her words seem, please keep in mind however, that just two weeks before this woman made these comments, Nancy Pelosi was walking through San Francisco's Chinatown trying to get people to come down and support the restaurants and other businesses.

I wouldn't use Nancy Pelosi as an example of an intelligent response. She is an idiot and a career politician.

Well, she is a leader, and she was showing her constituents that it was "safe" to come down to Chinatown and support the businesses.
The point is, as crazy as this woman's comments were, a significant leader just two weeks before was also discounting the risk.

You'll note that at the time, that was the best information we had. As more information was discovered the advice was changed to match it. We would be much better off, and fewer people would be dead now if Trump would follow the advice of our best medical and scientific minds, even when that advice changes instead of taking his advice from Fox and Friends.

OK, first of all, Trump isn't a Republican. He is sui generis. But not in a good way. I question everything he does because he's a massive fuckup -- an incompetent, petty, vindictive, pathetic narcissist who desperately needs approval. But please, offer some examples of your assertion that "the government" or "the media" don't care about the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. You don't get to just make that claim and then walk away. PROVE IT. And please, I don't want to hear about your BS detector. I smell BS.

I never thought it a hoax, but I also thought and still think the horse is already out of the barn and the "fix" is worse than the disease itself. And did she die of the virus, or was there other ailments that complicated things for her? And does it matter if she smokes or not? What if she was an alcoholic?

I plan to take care to the best of my ability, but I am still fed up with the bullshit and bad instructions by all concerned. Wear a mask, don't wear a mask; go visit chinese restaurants don't go; Hydrox stuff works, doesn't work; death due to virus but patient was 96 years old and had a bad heart/diabetes/insert disease here___________.

I feel bad for the lady because someone or many someones will blame her when all she wanted to do was live free as we all have been doing all our lives and had doubts. It was not her fault she got it and died. It was china's fault. Period.
It was China's fault? OK, maybe in the sense that they have "farmer's markets" that offer all kinds of wild animals for sale for food, which is a bad idea for a whole lot of reasons. But viruses mutate and move from one species to another, and they really don't care what species it is. They just want to replicate themselves somewhere. That's all. And they're pretty damn good at it.

Oh my gosh. You and I must be living on two different planets, if you have to even ask that question. That's a huge topic, and one that should be on a thread of its own. If I have time, maybe tomorrow I'll start a thread on the erosion of our constitution and rights. Which btw, most people today seem oh so eager to willingly surrender. For the sake of safety, of course! And the powers-that-be know it's a surefire way to get people to willingly bend over and take whatever is coming. It works every time.

Karen Kolb Sehlke is the Texas woman who called the COVID-19 a hoax.

Her actual words were:

"Wake up!!! This is what the beginning of socialism looks like!

They are leading with fear causing you to panic like sheep.

… You don’t need hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and Lysol. You need common sense, a sense of direction, faith, a will to fight, and of course guns!

Now wash your hands and live the life they don’t want you to have!"

Karen Kolb Sehlke died 4/2/2020 due to complications from the COVID19 virus.
It is a shame she died. And I feel for her family and loved ones. But willful ignorance can be dangerous.

I'm sick to death of the dancing on graves if the politics don't line up. And make no mistake, despite the outward "sigh sigh, she died", the Daily Kos is thrilled. And that's why they printed this.

She "deserved" it because she disagreed, and that's why they printed it. And this soul rot is more toxic even than the virus, and will stick around a heck of a lot longer.

While I am sad for her family and friends, she chose to put her life on the line, even though she didn't have to, given no report that she was a medical professional. Let's just hope that she did not infect anyone else.

There are posters on this board who are STILL saying they're going to go to church and they're not going to wear a mask. Me, I started spending a lot of time at home alone starting in January, first with the flu (no, not covid19), then my tooth absessed, and then the flu rebounded. This was a stomach flu. I was just emerging from 6 weeks of lying on my sofa binge watching sports on TV, when the virus hit North America.

So I've been self-isolating since January. In part because I was so sick, and worn down by the infection. I knew my immune system couldn't take another hit. So here I am, relaxing, visiting friends via FaceTime, and posting.

The freedom of individuals just grinds totalitarian Karens like you.

Listen, we knew this.

On some level, she did deserve it. Not because she disagreed, but because she ignored the warnings of people who knew more about it than she does. And there will be more like her. Not because I want there to be more of them, but because the ideology of these morons is more important to them than common sense.

I smell BS.

Um, what question did I ask? I asked you to offer some examples of your assertion that "the government" or "the media" don't care about the Constitution or the Bill of Rights, which seems to be what you were referring to. And yet, you offered nothing, except to say that they're being eroded for the sake of safety. But you gave no proof of that claim, either. I have an eight-foot invisible rabbit who goes out drinking with me every night. Prove that's not true!

Did you not read my post? Or are you being intentionally obtuse? I just finished telling you that that's a huge topic that deserves a thread of its own, and I just finished telling you that I might start a thread on that tomorrow. But now, seeing how you operate, I really have no desire to interact with you, at all. I can see now why a number of people have you on ignore.
Again, I asked you to offer some examples of your assertion that "the government" or "the media" don't care about the Constitution or the Bill of Rights, but instead you attacked me. Give me even one example of what you're talking about.

Ok, it's becoming more clear with each post that you're just a troll. You completely ignored what I said TWICE, are you seriously that dense? Or trolling? I'm guessing it's the latter. Re-read my posts, troll. Start a new thread. I won't be participating, because you're getting close to being the first person I put on ignore, but I'm sure plenty of people will be willing to educate you.

I think that you're leaving because you don't want to answer the questions that I asked. But go ahead! Run away!

Assclowns like Hannity called it a hoax as well as the POTUS. Now they are all back tracking on their words, oh that's right according to Trump Humpers their words were taken out of context.

The fact that you won't acknowledge something I said 3 times confirms that you're a troll. Start a new thread, troll. And get a new hobby. Trolling isn't your calling.
