Here's the problem with "blaming the victim." The media for years has been over sensationalizing stuff to get headlines and make money. They constantly paint everything to be a crisis. The Babylon Bee actually did a satirical article on this very thing a few weeks ago. They hyped up the bird flu, the swine flu, SARS, etc. SARS was probably the worst of those, but it was fairly controlled and compartmentalized in parts of the world, but if you went by the headlines in the news you would have thought the world was coming to an end. I said years ago that the news had to stop crying wolf on this shit because one of these days a serious epidemic was going sweep the nation and a lot of people wouldn't take it seriously.

I too said and believed this was a HOAX. I no longer do since for the last 3 days I've barely been able to stay awake for than a couple hours. A week ago I had a flash attack of runs which went away as fast as it came on and a low grade fever. Today I feel pretty good.....I even found some more TP at Fry's/Kroger at the regular price. I ain't crazy enough to say I had a run-in with muh muh muh my Corona but if I have, I praise God and my DNA for sparing me.

Are you going to call a doctor to try and get a COVID-19 test? Or self-quarantine in a room for 14 days and then check your fever for three days afterward? No going out shopping. No person-to-person contact. Any contact will have to be done via phone, Zoom, or videochat.

I doubted the broad impact of this too. I take it seriously now because I'm not stubborn and I read many media sources.

I will say though, much of this lies in the hands of those who didn't inform the world, including the W.H.O who told us in January it couldn't be transmitted from person to person.

All of the destruction that followed, lies at their feet. There must be consequences for the W.H.O and China. Whether we want to accept it or not, everything that follows, even the doubters; has the same source in a pandemic that could have been limited by 95%

What does the test do for his health?

I can only speak for myself. I'm still waiting to get the test and haven't had any symptoms. Yet, it's been over a week and the medical people here in California have not completed testing; they are first in line along with people over 60 with underlying conditions.

However, they absolutely do not want people with COVID-19 symptoms. If one has COVID-19 symptoms, then they have to get a doctor to discuss it with them and to get them a test.

I called it a hoax and in many ways the reaction to it is just that.

We are not getting good data.....we are only getting what people want us to get.

A lot more people have died from other things during the same time frame.

People die......

I certainly don't want to be one of them......but it happens.
