The Feds raided Gibson for the alleged use of Madagascar ebony, a protected wood species and confiscated $1m worth of materials from Gibson severly hampering their production activities, but somehow the Feds overlooked competitor, C.F. Martin, who allegedly uses Brazilian rosewood, another protected species. Could the shake down of Gibson be because they are a non-union shop and a Republican supporter? Whereas, Martin was left untouched because they are a union shop and a supporter of Democrats and Obama? Just another example of anti-American, anti-business, anti-free market from the Obama regime.

A charge was made that their competitor was given a pass. THAT'S what needs to be cited. Without it, how can it be determined if this is the truth or just a diversion to turn attention to the "evil gubmint"? The Gibson CEO saying "I don't know" doesn't cut it. If he doesn't know, they need a new CEO!!! If we're to take his word on that, why should we believe that anything is "known" about his competitor?
