Rudy Giuliani, were art thy ?

"If you think that the rule of law matters in this country -- then there's an important action I need you to take right now.

Rudy Giuliani -- who is spearheading Trump's ludicrous efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election -- has asked the president for a pre-emptive pardon, according to new reports. [1]

That's outrageous -- if Giuliani committed a crime, he should be held accountable. And if he and Trump are discussing a pre-emptive pardon, possibly as part of a quid pro quo, we deserve to know.

Sign the Petition: the American people will not let Trump abuse his power to shield himself and associates like Giuliani from accountability >>

Just last year, Common Cause filed complaints against Giuliani for illegally soliciting foreign help in the 2020 election -- in the form of a Ukraine government investigation into Joe Biden. This arrangement was at the heart of Trump's impeachment.

And Giuliani is currently representing Trump in several baseless, futile post-election lawsuits designed to undermine Americans' faith in our democracy.

Now, we may be getting some insight into why Giuliani is one of the few people left who are willing to parrot Trump's conspiracy theories: he thinks it's his best shot at evading the rule of law.

If you believe that President Trump shouldn't have one set of rules for his friends and another set for the American people -- add your name now.

Trump has already issued politically-motivated pardons to individuals like Michael Flynn -- who was convicted of lying to the FBI during the Mueller investigation -- as well as far-right figures like Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Dinesh D'Souza. He uses these pardons to secure loyalty from his associates, rile up his base, and distract us from his ongoing attacks on our values.

We must demonstrate that we are united in defense of the rule of law -- and that we're ready to speak out against any official who abuses their power.

Thanks for all you do,"

Despite the state's Secretary of State saying the video shows nothing out of the ordinary. That blatant lie is clear just by looking at it. The media and poll watchers were tossed out of the building on the premise of a water leak, but interestingly enough, the ones actually tallying the votes were allowed to not only stay, but brought out suitcases from underneath a long, black-cloaked table and started working the ballots inside them, without the poll watchers, which IS required by law.
No poll watchers/challengers.
No media.
No oversight to ensure integrity.
That smells of fraud and as the "law" requires poll watchers/challengers to be present and observing the process, all those ballots cannot be counted, no matter who they were for. Period.

As a card-carrying Marxist, you would deny video evidence.

Its not any crime they've committed, its the abuse of power by democrats that Trump's pardons will protect them from.

p.s. "were art thy" makes no sense in old or new English. What shithole country is that quote from?

I think he meant to say "Wherefore art thou?". Misquoting Shakespeare is simply a travesty.

Found him--
Is this the Manning you are talking about.,., if so, Trump has committed far more atrocities and he gets a free pass, I think not.

& he goes free- WHY-?

United States v. Manning was the court-martial of former United States Army Private First Class Bradley E. Manning, known now as Chelsea Manning.

After serving in Iraq since October 2009, Manning was arrested in May 2010 after Adrian Lamo, a computer hacker in the United States, indirectly informed the Army's Criminal Investigation Command that Manning had acknowledged passing classified material to the whistleblower website, WikiLeaks. Manning was ultimately charged with 22 specified offenses, including communicating national defense information to an unauthorized source, and the most serious of the charges, aiding the enemy. Other charges included violations of the Espionage Act, stealing U.S. government property, charges under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and charges related to the failure to obey lawful general orders under Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Manning entered guilty pleas to 10 of 22 specified offenses in February 2013.

The trial on the 12 remaining charges began on June 3, 2013. It went to the judge on July 26, 2013, and findings were rendered on July 30. Manning was acquitted of the most serious charge, that of aiding the enemy, for giving secrets to WikiLeaks. In addition to five or six espionage counts, Manning was also found guilty of five theft specifications, two computer fraud specifications and multiple military infractions.

On August 21, 2013, Manning was sentenced to 35 years' imprisonment, reduction in pay grade to E-1, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and a dishonorable discharge. On January 17, 2017, President Barack Obama commuted Manning's sentence to a total of 7 years confinement. Manning was released on May 17, 2017. On May 31, 2018, the U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals upheld Manning's conviction of violating the Espionage Act.
