Why do the facts bother right wingers: Rubio's daughter has received government funded health care..and thank god for that...especially in Florida where mean-spirited Doctors who wear their ideology on their collars would maybe turn the child away.

There was an accident. The kid is okay. So, what kind of health care did she receive? Has she been primed to be a taker? Will she become a lazy socialist expecting the government to give her cradle to grave funded care?

and why do right wingers get upset at this?

Rubio's daughter is covered under whichever of the 300 CHOICES that Rubio selected from the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, which has no resemblance to Obamacare.

OPM-Federal Employees Health Benefits Plan Home Page

The Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program can help you and your family meet your health care needs. Federal employees, retirees and their survivors enjoy the widest selection of health plans in the country. You can choose from among Consumer-Driven and High Deductible plans that offer catastrophic risk protection with higher deductibles, health savings/reimbursable accounts and lower premiums, or Fee-for-Service (FFS) plans, and their Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO), or Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) if you live (or sometimes if you work) within the area serviced by the plan.

Do you have a link to support that claim?

Rubio has employer health care. A great health insurance plan. It's government funded.

Good thing for his daughter, and good thing in Florida, because Florida is a mean state when it comes to health care

So he has a employer healthcare plan which means he has to be employed by and work for said employer to get the benefits same as I and many other's have to do with our insurance very different from Obamacare which seems to be the comparison your trying to make here.

Government funded health care is government funded health care.

Stop being obtuse, Dainty. You know the difference. You're just being an attention whore again.

just like ryan whining about how bad the stimulus is and how it doesn't "create jobs" while begging for funds for his own district "BECAUSE they created jobs"

and like romney saying "a president can't create jobs" while saying he's going to "create jobs" if he gets elected.

i think we call that hypocrisy.

Nothing hypocritical about it. Rubio's employer is the federal government therefore they provide him with health insurance as a benefit just like my employer provides it to me. You fully understand the difference, but choose a dishonest argument.

Rubio works for the people of the USA. We the people pay for his health insurance plan. Wish he supported other employees doing what his does.

government funded health insurance is government funded health insurance

end of story

but Obama is not running against government funded health care, is he?

:thewave:

Come on dainty boy, show me where Rubio as advocated removing medical insurance for federal employees. I know you commiecrats have difficulty distinguishing a difference but give it a try.

You do realize that the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program IS like an employer healthcare package as to part of it is paid by the federal government and the federal employees pay a portion of it, also....right?
