Ronnie Spector Voices to die for

I love the song she did with Eddie Money.

I had the greatest honor of working with her. Siren. I think I loved her so much because I'd found someone shorter than me. :) that I liked.

And Genya was so cool.

Joplin of course. She's in my "why did you have to fuck up and die and leave me so soon" category. sigh.

Good Heavens but I dig this song!

And my favorite Ronette was Nelda. She moved really classy and sexy.

I have been known to listen to this song on a loop for several repititions at a time.

Thanks for this thread!

And here's another video which features the original recording and a montage of video clips of their 1960's performances.

10/10

Here's a good idea. Legalize drugs make drug addiction both ordinary and glamorous. Anyone could die like Janis Joplin.

sometimes I feel like I have no justification for having outlived sweet and wonderful folks like Jim Croce... 'n many others... Janis... Jimi... Nillson... etc...

You could have done drugs and died just like they did.

We didn't know what we were doing. Honest. How to explain it. We honestly didn't know what we were doing.

I wish I could explain it to you.

and you could eat shit and die just like I've imagined all the other jerk-wad reactionaries such as yourself might happen to do on one fine day...

eta: and btw, Croce died in a plane crash... and Nillson died of natural causes... both wonderful people... so go fuck yourself for lumping 'em in with the druggie crowd...
