‘Ron DeSantis Is At Fault’. Lack Of Leadership Leads To Spring Break Public Health Hazzard

Right before Spring Break, DeSantis opened up everything and said......Come on down!

They Did
Why are you so racist?

After weeks of uninhibited partying on South Beach by spring breakers, police turned away throngs of people — many of them Black — from world-famous Ocean Drive with a SWAT truck, pepper balls and sound cannons.

The tactics were intended to enforce an 8 p.m. curfew announced only hours earlier on Saturday to rid the city of what police and politicians have described as unruly and sometimes violent late-night crowds. And the tactics appeared to have the desired effect: By mid-evening, police tweeted out a picture of the empty intersection at Ocean Drive and Eighth Street.

But the use of force to clear out people of color from South Beach alarmed some Black leaders. And if Miami Beach has openly recoiled at the behavior of at-times chaotic crowds filling the city’s entertainment district every weekend, some in South Florida are having a similar reaction to the way the city and its police have handled the presence of thousands of people of color.

“I was very disappointed,” Stephen Hunter Johnson, chairman of Miami-Dade’s Black Affairs Advisory Committee, said Sunday morning. “I think when they’re young Black people [on South Beach], the response is, ‘Oh my God, we have to do something.’”

White kids just don't want to deal with thousands of violent blacks looking to destroy Miami. Of course it would be racist or waayyciss to not permit black riot.

Social media users focused on how the governor’s response triggered the public health threat. Author Grant Stern tweeted: “The worst part about the triumphalism of Ron #DeathSantis is that he’s exporting COVID-19 infections all over the country so those cases aren’t in the Florida stats that he wants to (celebrate), which are hideously bad already." Florida has had more than two million COVID-19 cases and 32,712 deaths, according to The New York Times. Attorney Aaron Parnas tweeted: "Ron DeSantis is at fault for the madness on Miami Beach. But for his dangerous rhetoric and incompetent leadership, we would not be here today. It is time to Remove Ron."

Good luck on the campaign trail Ron.
Yet the Biden administration is busing thousand of covid positive illegals all over the country and your good with it.
The invaders will gravitate to established neighborhoods of their kind. That's where disease will be spread along with gang violence.

The Florida weather, NOT the governor, is what attracts Spring Breakers. Blaming DeSantis is stupid, but it's the Daily Kooks, so what else would you expect.

Filthy ass ghetto Negroes running amok in Miami on Spring Break is the problem.

Ron simply is following the lead of Xiden....Xiden isn't testing illegals as they are caught, then he is releasing them to go any and everywhere across the country....if it's good enough for Xiden and illegals...why can't Americans go have some fun on the beach? and American businesses get some much need economic boast?

& now for the truth:

FEMA chief says COVID-19 positivity rate among migrants is less than 6%, lower than Texas average

Washington — The acting head of the Federal Emergency Agency (FEMA) told lawmakers on Tuesday that less than 6% of COVID-19 tests for migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border have come back positive, a lower percentage than the overall positivity rate in the state of Texas.

"There's testing happening," Acting Administrator Robert Fenton told lawmakers at a hearing before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security. "What we're seeing is less than 6% positive right now, coming across the border."

Fenton's comments come as Texas Governor Greg Abbott and GOP lawmakers have expressed concerns that migrants are spreading the virus to the general public. However, the rate of infection among migrants tested at the border is lower than that of the state overall. As of Tuesday, the seven-day average of the state's positivity rate stood at 7.4%, according to Johns Hopkins University.

I am not sure how these recent test by FEMA prove me wrong?

As many as 100 asylum seekers are being released in Brownsville, in South Texas, each day, but they are tested for coronavirus in Mexico by the United Nations and, again, once they arrive in Brownsville.

The asylum seekers, who were previously waiting in Mexico under the Trump administration’s “remain in Mexico” policy, cannot enter the United States without a negative coronavirus test.

But, 108 migrants released in the past month in Brownsville tested positive for COVID-19, according to Rep. Henry Cuellar. Those are families traveling with young children who were detained by Border Patrol but released into Texas because Mexico won’t take them back.

Border Patrol doesn’t have the resources to test those families, so the City of Brownsville uses state-provided rapid tests.

While non-profit organizations offer hotel rooms to those who test positive for coronavirus to quarantine, the City of Brownsville can’t stop those families from traveling elsewhere.

“They are issued papers by (the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security) that allows them to travel north of the checkpoint,” said Sandra Sanchez, a journalist with Border Report. “It’s unclear how many people have actually gotten onto public transportation.”

Biden admin pressed on enforcing COVID-19 tests as more migrants test positive

you said they aren't being tested at all.

that is false.
What good is testing when you just put them on a bus and send them into the US with no quarantine?
