If Mitt Romney and his vice-presidential running mate, Representative Paul Ryan, were to win next month’s election, the harm to women’s reproductive rights would extend far beyond the borders of the United States.

In this country, they would support the recriminalization of abortion with the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and they would limit access to contraception and other services. But they have also promised to promote policies abroad that would affect millions of women in the world’s poorest countries, where lack of access to contraception, prenatal care and competent help at childbirth often results in serious illness and thousands of deaths yearly. And the wreckage would begin on Day 1 of a Romney administration

Well, let's don't pay for YOUR roads, public works, and dozens of other things you get as a benefit of others paying for them. And the fallacy of the argument by selfish republicans is that MOST women and men who have medical treatment have paid for their insurance or are paying for Medicaid, etc. through paying taxes of all sorts. It is disgusting that people like you cannot see this and think that every person who gets help has never worked in their lives, is not working, has not paid taxes and fees that help pay for these programs. It is beyond selfish and terrible. When someone can't get health care and develops TB or some other contagious disease, I hope they are stuck in an elevator full of republicans! Don't you see how helping others (who also help themsleves and others as I've explained) helps YOU and those around you and prevents you from getting diseases from others or from having to bear the burden of it in some other ways? Except that most of the southern states (the ones that often get cited in this little deflection) used to be "blue states".
