Trump's allies are turning on Trump's AG after the latter revealed Trump's fraud allegations have not been substantiated by the DOJ:

Is he gonna toss away old friendships to protect Trump ? Probably not. But he may be understating this case by saying no evidence "of widespread election fraud" ...if he's a Constitutionalist he may eventually be cornered into doing the right thing.

Are you an investigator? Or a guy in his basement telling Bill Barr there's evidence of fraud?

He'll be gone by week's end I bet. The last guy to say there was no fraud was fired via Twitter. I hear they mailed him his clothes.

Well he is the guy who cleaned up Rayguns and the Cowboys mess. So let the banana republican bunch tear him up.

Barr DID intern at the CIA when starting out in Gov't. In fact his initial goal was to become CIA Director one day.

Barr never went after any of the very very corrupt FBI-who they have by the balls.....

Lou Dobbs joins the conservative chorus, calling Barr part of the "Deep State":

More times than not, Lou is right.
That's the cool thing about personal history and history in general; to be able to know where one is at and where they're going, you have to know where they have been!

Barr is just trying to reclaim his damaged reputation as trump goes out the door.

Telling the truth can damage your reputation in DC.
That's true.

And Trump hired him so Trump is part of the "Deep State'. Correct?
Before the election there was a belief that Trump had to have some of that in his administration. He was an outsider. What we have learned is that there is a deep state and it is powerful. We have learned that the media and entertainers and many sport players are in cahoots with them.

/----/ I'm surprised by this as everyone else. Problem is, we don't know what goes on behind the scenes. Is Barr saying this because he believes it, or is he just trying to prove he isn't a Trump tool?

Permanent state is another good term. These are the career politicians, agents, officers and officials that remain in Washington as presidents come and go.
