Riot Damage of Over $1Billion Is Most Expensive in US History

Mass protests are the voices of the unheard. This did not start with George Floyd it was just the last straw. It has only been since the protests began that cities have finally started real police reform. It's terrible it had to come to this but no one pays attention to the black community when they ask nicely. In the debate the other night Trump was asked to speak directly to the parents who have to tell their kids how to survive an encounter with the police, he had nothing to say. Some people are deaf to injustice no matter what.

Sane people don’t acknowledge or dignify fabricated fictional tales....We leave that to the FEELZ retards.

"A recent study, published by the prestigious National Bureau of Economic Research, found "no evidence of racial discrimination in officer-involved shootings." The study, by Harvard economics professor Roland Fryer Jr., who is black, studied data from three major cities"

Being stopped for driving and walking while Black is a real thing. It's not even debatable. "Fitting the description" is a tired old cliche by now. Police shootings are only the extreme end of systemic racism that continues throughout the black experience at the hands of the criminal justice system. What have you lost if another man gets the same as you have?

One must behave the same to “get the same”.
Cops are supposed to profile, that’s what they trained to do.
LefTard Logic:
“Cops should patrol the wealthy suburbs and target affluent white kids in BMW’s. Patrolling the ghettos at 2am, targeting actual criminals in low riders is a waste of taxpayer cash.”
Without the war on drugs there is little need to be pulling people over at random. No one should ever be arrested for simple possession yet that is the justification for hassling black people in their homes, vehicles and neighborhoods. The war on drugs is over, now is the time to come to terms with the fact that Americans are going to have all the drugs they want no matter what. It's not just black people who sell drugs but it's they who pay the price for America's drug appetite and the police justifying their jobs.

These were riots and looting, not protests. You don't steal property to protest police brutality.
Even the ancient Romans understood the psychology of civil unrest. Why are you people still so ignorant? Once the spark is ignited there is no one in control and going all fascist on it makes it worse. In a responsive government the spark never happens. The injustice never builds until it causes an eruption of unrest. Once out the bottle it's too late. No amount of authoritarianism can stop it without an unacceptable amount of bloodshed. Such slaughters have often been the rallying point for movements that have toppled governments and started civil wars.
Like our own. I was recently reading some on the Boston Tea Party. I never realized what a massive political protest there was that day that led to hundreds of men storming the three ships laden with tea and sending millions of dollars worth of product into the harbor. There were thousands watching.
It's been so long since we had any significant civil unrest in our country that we alone in the world have forgotten that things just come apart every now and then. The 1880s-1920s were insane for riots and domestic terrorism. What we have now is historically noteworthy for the restraint shown by everyone rather than the relatively mild destruction and bloodshed.

Send the bill for payment to the Democrat Party.

They'll only pay up if the taxpayers get the bill, as in ALL of us.
We all will regardless in the form of higher premiums on insurance for businesses, leading to higher prices passed on to the consumer. Just like the theft costs all of us so does the rioting and destruction.
Beyond the insured costs, they won't talk of the physiological costs on the business owners and innocent, the costs of law enforcement, fire departments, National Guard, property values, lost tax revenue...etc.

ALL OF THAT, are costs to all of us.

That is enough!
And then the cocksuckin' Dimms under Pelosi/Schumer want stimulus on top of this!
Then they will blame Trump for the added debt.
Pelosi and those supporting her are scum.

Agreed. Let’s hope this continues after the election.

Don't forget Trump sending in federal agents to protect government sites that were not targeted prior to the agents being sent. All of the sudden now there are new targets and the right wing anti government groups now have a federal target with agents and general chaos at night. Adding gas to a fire is not always the right move.

Sending in the agents to quell the riots and it still going on.

Now various right wing groups are in Oregon.

The kid who thought he could borrow a gun and wald the streets to protect property

Confrontations between the opposing sides — at times affiliated with Proud Boys or Black Lives Matter — in Portland resulted in the Aug. 29 fatal shooting of a follower of a Proud Boys-aligned right-wing group, Patriot Prayer.

Yet Trump does not call out any right wing anti government groups and they take that as a sign of approval for their actions.
If it were up to me those maiming, blinding and killing police trying to stop them, it would be a death sentence. And if they shot up wildly and killed a child, likewise. This nation is fed up with Democrats getting even and causing groups to go out and stalk and kill people wearing flags and Mega hats. The lot of congress critters who called for or tolerated ugly acts against members of the WH Staff should serve life sentences, no parole.

The all caps and bad grammar adds nothing. Without the war on drugs we have no use for a major chunk of the prison industrial complex. Damned right they must justify their jobs with all the minor drug offenses they can possibly bring. It finally took the demographic nature of the meth and opioid epidemic to finally drive home that arresting people for possession is useless after a lot of white people ended up where blacks were during the crack epidemic.

The new study in WaPo says 97% of the protests didn't include any injuries or property damage. You shouldn't just ignore that. Peaceful protests didn't make the news because that's not what catches most people's interest.
Well 3 hours, time is up go home addled brain TDS sickos.

? What did I say that was addled or sick? And why am I on a timer?

9 dead is nothing compared to trump's kill rate of over 200 thousand pandemic victims.
